Vidyut thought that he killed Juhi but the real mastermind behind this is Neil Khanna. He cleverly removed all the evidences which can prove Avni's innocence and is now pretending that he couldn't gather any.He did all this to get promotion as his track record was not going well and this single case would have given a boost to his career. But still after waiting for six months he didn't get any promotion. So now he is planning to get sureshot promotion by arresting Neo. That is why he wanted to send Neela maa in Neo's disguise to attack Vidyut's truck and arrest her on spot. He would then claim that Neela was doing all this to take revenge from Vidyut for framing her daughter. But unfortunately Avni foiled his plans unknowingly. I think next time he will ensure that Neela is caught as Neo. Not sure if Neela will be sent to Avni's jail or some other jail
