I honestly was surprised ki how it matters if he is promoted DCP, because we know there are more outrageous things shown on indian tv and no action has been taken against that, but Shikha explained that this is a serious matter and it might offend bureaucrats since it's a tough and serious job and these people work under some difficult conditions and it would be demeaning to show such a promotion in a matter of just few years while it takes 14 years to become DCP from ACP.

I just hope ki if they will listen to this, they would listen to the other complaints about illogical things in the fields of medecine (the shamatkars of indian tv), law, science...

This is the reason they put a disclaimer before the episode is aired something like all the characters are fictional and any resembelence to them is purely coincidental so that nobody feels offended. As you said there are other illogical stuffs in the show like misrepresentation of medical facts, law, forensic science, hacking.They can't run a show if fans start feeling offended for everything. Then IPS turning vigilante at night should also be offensive. I won't be surprised if due this scrutinization of ranking system, tomorrow they make Neil resign from police services and make him join Prakash's business because that is the safest thing to show
