Yes! Avni is always secretive about her plans and takes every step carefully. On the other hand Neil is always overconfident abt his plan. Which many times landed avni in trouble.I know Neil is a gem but sadly his overconfidence always lands avni in trouble.

Avni was correct yesterday not letting Neil know abt her plan though we want marriage to be avneil plan. But Neil always becomes hindrance in avnis path. He thinks that avni may land in trouble. I know his care. But indirectly he himself is even responsible for that. Avni always succeeded in her missions bcoz of her presence of mind and she has no overconfidence but it's Neil's care and love for her is landing her in trouble.

I think we should be careful with the use of the word "always", generally we should not generalize. Just because things are not going in favor of Neil nowadays we can't forget things that happened before. Avni was the one known to be quite impulsive when her emotions take over, let's not forget he asked her many times to not step out the house during Dayavanti Mehta track and to trust him yet she did and she almost got herslef killed, but then I could understand as she saw the shocking video of her dad's death, but that wasn't the only instance, Avni often doesn't listen and she likes to take risks, I know she is very ressourceful and her risks are many times well calculated but that doesn't mean she gets everytthing right everytime.

I remember she insisted on Neil taking her with him when he was going to Rang Mahal with his team, he refused but he accepted on her instance and he asked her to stay near the car and not move but she was quite impulsive and wanted to go inside Rang Mahal and has hidden inside a guest car, and it was her luck which saved her because Guruma's goons were going to shearch the car but luckily Guruma said it's a special guest's car so it won't be searched. And how many times Neil tried to prevent her from going to Rang Mahal by all means from pleading, explaining, having her under surveillance by guards (his own police officers), threatnening to sign divorce papers to putting her in jail and what not yet she did what she wanted (obviously she did it all for her Neil) and went to Rang Mahal and many things went wrong and not as per planned, I know then Neil shouldn't have informed Guruma that he was raiding the Rang Mahal the following day, I also think that some things are better kept under wrap even when you think your plan is full proof but I guess he thought that by arresting that corrupt lady officer that was helping Guruma and having Guruma under strict surveillance, there won't be any problem in his plans, then he had no inkling that DVM was in cahoots with Guruma as they were two different cases, and we know they just met in prison, and no one would think DVM was spying DGP's office where the conversation between Guruma and Neil was taking place. Anyways that's not the point, the point is I don't agree that Neil "always" overconfident or that he "always" becomes hindrance , every plan can get foiled, because many times so many unexpected things can happen, but here Avni herself many times goes for risk, and even when Neil says No she would still do it, so for Goa though he first didn't want her to go (I still rememebr when she said she will go to Vidyut for the girl, he said No Avni, please, tum nahi, something on these lines), but she convinced him and he trusted her because he also knows she is very ressourceful and afterall she is case 123 and she knows how to handle things, all she needs is to control her emotions and in Goa she was very much in control as it was more Neil's past in play and not hers.

So let's not generalize, in Goa, people kept saying he is overconfident, while he was actullay super cautious and very well aware of Vidyut being a dangerous man, hence he didn't inform his own family about the plans and tried to keep everything secret and share the details mainly with Avni and he had everything planned to run away with Avni safely (including the jeep and all) and even when he felt Vidyut was about to dicover Mishti is gone, he disclosed himself to him just to save Mishti and Avni so that they get time to run away! so I really can't understand why people say he is overconfident or that he lands her in troubles. Yes his past has come back to haunt him, yes he is paying a heavy price for trusting Juhi, but relationships are based on trust, now tell me how logically he will doubt a person he thought he loved once and to whom he was going to get married, and who was captive in Rang mahal would be able to lie about something as important as paternity or help the very people who held her captive!

People nowadays are always ready to jump the gun against Neil even before seeing how things will play out be it when he left the altar (I agree that was an OTT plan and I don't see why they had even went for such a thing, I suppose to convince everyone of their separation but it was too much, they could have thought of something better) or when shaadi promo was out or now again with the new promo. We know that Neil never accepted this shaadi with Juhi not even under majboori, even when Bebe was insisting, he said he will leave the city, change the job but won't leave his wife. People also were assuming many times that he is planning to keep Juhi and Mishti under the same roof as Avni, but it was yet another wrong assumption because he clearly said they will stay separately. Now the new promo is also for shock value, Neil will never behave that way, he loves her more than his life, and more than that he knows her inside out, so no way he would doubt her or be against her in anyway, people should chill.

Last thing is I agree with "_Charu_", CVs should be careful about the way they present things, they are making everyone roam around Neil's house as if it's a public Park, that's so not done, as far as I remember the house has CCTV cameras, just to show villains are smart and plotting you can't tone down other characters especially when they get warned many times, he is an ACP so people will judge him even more than they would judge a normal person (though I'm against judging people anyways)!

And yes Neil should have checked the bathroom to see what went wrong and how Bebe's accident (attempt to murder) happened but CVs went for an emotional breakdown instead!!

Anyways I think this is a bad phase for Neil (though I feel CVs also are toning him down on purpose for Drama or to show other characters smart) otherwise we know Neil is very perceptive and quite in control of his emotions (though honestly he is a human being also and he has been under immense pressure of late)

I think Neil has set high standards that people now expect him to be so perfect, every fangirl's dream to be fulfilled by him (in the show obviously lol), so he is bashed at every drop of a hat even before tracks play out while honestly I see some of the same girls drooling for way way more flawed heros than Neil Khanna!!!
