But yes, everyday viewers may just want entertainment. But this story and this couple were always about much more than that!

I sincerely feel what I have written is what the CV's were trying to convey. I hope I have judged them correctly. If they wanted to show Neil was not like Ashish they have succeeded. Maybe in a smart way too, coz they didn't have to make him an unwed father for "Real" to achieve this. They put him and the people in his life in a "simulated situation" which made Neil a guy who Fathered a child at a young age without marriage. Then they showed us how Neil was trying to deal with it, and how he would handle it. This was the result. It was not perfect, but he damned well tried. He never tried to run from it, nor make excuses for himself. In short he "Fronted". Something Ashish did not do. Maybe THAT is why Avni stood by Neil. Because he fronted to her and then he tried to do right by the child.

I always believe if all we want is just to be entertained as in "Just for laughs" then we should just watch a comedy. But if you watch drama, you need to be prepared for the high's and the lows, and tears as well as laughter. Pain as well as pleasure. Because the day I don't feel pain, that is the day I dont feel anything. Then I know it's time to stop watching. Because we need to feel the emotions of the characters. At least I do!

That is why I am even willing to see what makes Vidyut be in so much pain? That one line "Shona" from Ragini to Vidyut had so much emotion and pain in it, I connected to it and their relationship right away. I think the biggest mistake in this track was that we could not connect to Juhi. We just felt irritated by her most of the time. A performance like Manini's and Karam's being given by the actor playing Juhi would have gone a LONG way to justifying her to us. Now the really tough part comes. Juhi will have to "Justify" herself to Neil, Avni and their family and why she did all this. Can the actor pull this off? THIS is her chance to make us connect with Juhi and a Mother's pain etc. Can she do it? Only time will tell!

What you interpreted is absolutely correct. In writing it's to the point but for normal viewers the essence was not translated in that way in the scenes...one because of the terrible action of Poonam and two I also felt the editors and dialogue writers messed up the whole emotions of characters. So we can say they weren't successful to convey what they wanted to convey rather they complicated things to the extent of viewer frustration.

I dont have another ID. The Episode review is given by Mandy the "Moderator". I am not the same one. I sometimes call myself "Mandy the Banker" so people know I am not the same as Mandy the Moderator.

I usually think from both the characters POV. Actually all the characters. Maybe that is why I dabble in writing too. Unless you can think from ALL Point's of View then you cant write a story!

@MayAif:

Yes, they did not execute the track in the right way. Too much confusion with "What's the plan, what's not the plan!". "What's the twist, what's not the twist?" etc.

The confession we all waited on for months was not done the way we wanted. One thing in such cases, the "Fans" who are the biggest barometer of success of a show NEED to be happy with those epic moments. Confession is one, consummation is another. You have got to get them right. Because the viewers are invested in the pairing and they want those big moments to really count and live up to their expectations!

@Marav:
Yes, this track was not well conveyed in parts and that frustrated the viewers. They did not convey some of what they were trying to say in the right way. They confused the audience a lot in many ways. People who had no inkling of spoilers would have been totally confused and even with everything we knew or had managed to find out, we were equally confused. So I agree the track was not handled well. In fact, probably the worst handled track of the post leap show to date!

Yes that is a great show! I started following it. Have to catch up to this week, but on that show almost every scene counts!

But currently, AvNeil, Mishti, Juhi and Vidyut and also the rest of the family are stuck in a maze of sorts. Relationships are all intertwining and playing out. Hence the Rishton Ka Chakravuyh title!

Mandy, this is beautifully written. ❤️ I was quite frustrated after Friday's episode but thank you for reminding us all that there is so much to take away from this track so far when you look at things from a wider perspective. My only gripe is with that Juhi-Neil scene but apart from that, I can understand where the characters (AvNeil) are coming from and you have beautifully highlighted the same.

I am hoping that they would reveal the truth soon so that everyone would be at peace. Above all, AvNeil deserve to know that they have been lied to, that some of their precious moments have been ruined and no apology can undo the damage that has been done. Like you've mentioned, it makes sense for Neil to trust Juhi (based on what he knew of her 5 years ago) but he does not know the Juhi that is in front of him now - the Juhi that has been through "hell" and changed. Another brilliant point brought up was that on Vidyut and his comment regarding wife/mother. Yes, we know that Vidyut is the baddest baddie in town, but his bonding with Mishti does raise some serious questions. Why is he so attached to the girl even though he hates women? What did that one woman do to him for him to be like this? Was he always a bad guy, who knew about the business his mother ran? Or did circumstances force him into becoming the guy that he is now?

I would say, shift the focus to Vidyut vs AvNeil. I would love to know Vidyut's background, but please keep the Vidvyut-Juhi backstory short. No one is interested in knowing anything more than the bare minimum with respect to Juhi at this point. Let there be a proper showdown between good vs evil! Aditi-Zain-Karam would KILL IT and I am sure it would be a treat for us as audiences as well.

Bang on Mandy !
Though CVs had let down in execution I can't just hate Avni / Neil as I had invested much in them . The biggest problem of Neil being bashed is because he was shown to be perfect and sticking on to facts ! And here he hasn't asked a word to Juhi . He wouldn't too we know he is too principled to question a girl about her virginity . Whatever the case is he never had known Juhi at all . She is easily using him to get the custody of her daughter playing with his whole family . To put short she is making a joke of his emotions . I badly wish she is thrown out ASAP when family is confronted with her truth .

Even if the child was not Neil's , Avni would have done the same coz she finds herself in Misti . She wants to help her get out of hell and live her childhood . Mei nahi chahti ki wo dusri Ananya Verma bane ! Yes , this proves whatever the case she would have helped the kid . Now when she knows it's Neil's how would she judge him being herself a love child . She finds herself to be in Neela's shoes . The difference here is Neil faced the truth unlike Ashish and gave her option to leave him . But how could she leave him "Neil's pain is hers and her pain is Neil's " and above all she can't see her history being repeated to another child .

Of Neil truth came crushing on him . He never expected his ex to return and when she returned she came with a child which was his . I even remember his words spoken to Bebe " Mujhe kya pata ki Juhi wapas aayegi " Before he could feel relieved having saved Juhi another truth is thrown at his face . More then ACP Neil , a normal man Neil who just found that he had daughter overpowered and he couldn't handle all the emotions at once . I fell for him more when he confronted Avni that he had child with Juhi instead of enjoying the moment . That was the Neil I loved .

If our stars are good I wish Juhi chapter ends soon ! More than done with her . And CVs had to shift focus to AvNeil vs Vidyut and reveal the paternity soon .

Beautiful points about Vidyut . I felt intrigued only when he was sculpting a woman . That aspect really impressed me .

If this is what cvs wanted to convey, then I must say they have failed miserably. Agree they wanted to show Neil is not like Ashish, but have they succeeded in showing it? I feel they didn't because of the lack of self-talk and meaningful conversation in the shows.
They should have shown a monologue from Neil's side for feeling guilty of becoming an unwed father and how he will compensate it for by giving the love to the child and another monologue where he feels guilty of putting Avni in danger for rescuing the child. Absence of this is making him look like a selfish guy who is using Avni for rescuing his child. This is what the general viewers are saying. Does that make him superior than Ashish? Also in the interview Aditi said that Avni is doing all this thinking that it is Neil's child but I feel Avni should have said the same things to somebody in the show may be Neela. Viewers of NK know the traits of the show's characters but I believe that cvs should keep on reminding the viewers about these traits through self-talks and conversations because viewers won't brainstorm that much to decode each and every scene recalling what each character has done for each other in the past.Certain things they need to be told explicitly and directly.

If cvs intention is not to show Neil as an unwed father, then they should have conveyed this to the viewers clearly may be through a guilty self-talk by Juhi long back. It is okay to keep characters in the show in dark but keeping the viewers also in dark is not required because after all its a drama and not CID where the suspense need to be stretched till the end,
Viewers are ready to see the lows in a show only if it does not mars the prospect of seeing highs in the show in future. I will feel the pain for a character in the show if the character is shown pained in the show. After the revelation of baccha, was any character shown hurt ? I don't think so.

I will disagree here that Juhi's character is loathed because of the actress playing it. Had any good actress played it, then also we would have found fault in her expressions. Vidyut's character is welcomed even before we knew that Karam will be playing it and Juhi's character introduction faced flak when she was to be introduced.
The reason we dislike Juhi and like Vidyut is because Neil has soft corner for Juhi and Avni has nothing for Vidyut. The day Avni also starts showing some emotions towards Vidyut, Vidyut will also have to face viewers' wrath.
Vidyut' backstory will be accepted only if it remains as a side story and does not becomes the main story of NK
