Ok so they showed neil first, played by the ever gorgeous zain imam, then they showed his lunatic sidekick police officer who was hilarious, they showed ali who has been given the name of 'noodles' and 'noodle hair', speaking of who, is friends with neil. I feel so sorry for ali. He's madly in love with avni and even though the world thinks she is dead he still believes she is alive and has been waiting 15 years for her whilst talking non-stop about her to everyone. Everybody, including neil knows ali is madly in love with avni who he hasn't seen in 15 years, but we all know that ali won't end up with avni as she will end up with the same neil, in front of whom ali keeps going on and on about his love, avni.
They also showed the grown up avni who has turned a thief or should i say, robin hood, who steals from the rich and gives to the poor, and neil is hot on her tail in his police inspector role. Then daya and her daughter diksha were shown, who have gone through a whole image makeover, with even daya losing her sarees and the tikka dots she wore on her face and is now keeping her hair down in a bob, sporting sunglasses and wears a salwar (ashish was not shown in the entire episode, and i don't care to ever see his face again).
Avni is shown at the same place where daya attempted to kill her before the leap when neil comes from behind her and they both trip and fall down into the very water avni fell down before the leap at the end of the episode and will be shown washed up on an island as per the precap. Now that spoiler I posted earlier in the day makes sense, although the idiot who wrote the spoiler wrote that daya attempts to kill avni and she falls in the water, but is saved by neil, which made the whole spoiler not make sense.
All in all, I no longer hate the new avni, but still think she doesn't look like avni or give me the vibe that she is avni, and i still wish shivani had played avni. Zain on the other hand is just loveable as ever, and played his character effortlessly and was really smooth in his role, especially loved his interactions with his noodle hair friend ali 😆
Speaking of ali, even though everybody is saying that the casting for ali was really bad, and i'll be honest, i also think he looks nothing like small ali, but grown up ali is really sweet and loveable, and can't wait to see more of him, although i do think that the actor needs to chill on his dialogue delivery. Zain doesn't seem to force the dialogue out of his mouth, but rather it sound smooth and like music, but this actor playing ali exerts himself too much when giving the dialogues and speaks way too loud. I also can't wait to see more of that nut-case sidekick officer of neil's, and on a side note, they need to calm down on avni's eyeliner. It's way too much that it hides her eyes and makes it difficult to be able to see her expressions more when her eyes seem covered with eyeliner.
