Present
After many shooting the movie was completed. Avni asks Aladin what's the next step. Aladin says if the advertisement went well then many people will show up for the movie. Avni yawns, Aladin starts editing the videos to burn a copy. Asha gives him tea before sitting down. " your helping Avni a lot, making her dream come true. Thank you Aladin"
" it's no trouble. Avni is a good kid, I can see her fire and determination to spread her name to the world."
Asha smile while looking at Avni who was now, sleeping on the small couch. Aladin edit the videos and burn the cd. Asha looks at the time, " it's past your stay"
" give me a second it's almost done"
When he finish he quickly drank the hot tea. He scream when it burn his mouth. Asha quickly puts her cup down and walk to his side of the couch. " Aladin, are you OK?" She asks concern while touching his shoulder.
" yeah, I guess I drank to fas-" he never finish when he realize how close they we're. Asha beautiful eyes widen at The closeness. She stumbles for word, but Aladin beat her to it " yours eyes so beautiful , I can look at it for years an I still won't get tired of it." Asha looks down, before moving back.
The room was silent. Aaladin quickly says " isn't that a good line for ashish to use. I mean that would have been great for the movie." He laughs
Asha staid quiet, Avni while sleeping says " crackpot stop flirting with my mom" , they both look at her before Asha starts giggling while Aladin pouts like a kid.
" I should go" he says
Asha look at his shirt " are you gonna be fine with the tea stain?"
Aladin look down " yeah, don't worry I have a spare"
He stood up and thank Asha for a nice day, before leaving. Asha release the breath she didn't know she was holding, before closing the door.
The next day the movie was to release, neela came to wish Avni luck, but Avni ignored her an told her she doesn't need luck from her and that she will only bring bad luck to her. Neela look hurt, she says " I know you won't forgive me, but i hope you will understand some day"
Angie told Avni , she shouldn't blame her for what happen. She says remember you told her you guys we're happy without ashish. So why blame her for marrying her papa. She says she doesn't think Neela would betray her an for her to at least let Neela explain.
Avni snap at Angie and asks her whose side she's on. She says f she's gonna be Neela support then for her to leave. Angie frown, and staid quiet. Fatima says where's Aladin. She says he was suppose to be here five minutes ago. Asha tries calling him, but he didn't pick up.
The men calls Avni, and asks to introduce herself. Avni grab the mic nervously. She stumble for words. She look among the crowd to see days at the very back smirking and her father giving her a thumbs up. Avni says in head where are you Aladin.
Elsewhere,
Aladin had bag full of money while leaving. He remember what happen that night.
Flashback
While walking away daya stops him. " your Aladin?"
" the one an only"
" I want to make a deal with you"
Aladin looks worry " what kind of deal"
Daya says " I will give you any amount you need for the disk an laptop. Now Aladin was interested. " how much are we talking? "
Daya shows the check, and Aladin eyes widen. " fine here you go" he says
Daya smile while thinking Avni won't know what hits her. Aladin on the other hand was happy.
End of flashback
While his taxi stop. Aladin saw kids running while laughing. He remisc Avni and their time together. Guilt was starting to get to him. He thought about Asha and how she made him feel welcome.
Elsewhere,
Avni took a deep breath an talk " hi, I'm Avni. Many people know me as the girl with no sir name. They judge an bully my family, but why does a child have to have a last name. Having a last name does not characterize who you are, or make you any less of a human. I'm still avni. my mother worked hard to raise me, even without a father. She did what a father could do and she still continue to support me. Thats why I'm proud to have her name Asha Avni, with her support I will shine."
She smile at her mom " people only see a girl with no father, a women with a child. They always blame the women an think negatively, but once you watch my movie, our story. Your thinking will change." " so now I present to you naamkarann"
Avni put the mic down, and walk of the stage. Asha hugs her. " you did good"
Avni asks about Aladin, Fatima shook her head. The men on stage came to them telling them theirs no disk. The family was shock. " I thought Aladin sent it to you"
" no, I didn't get anything "
The family was tense, Fatima curse, she says what if he betrayed them. Avni didn't want to think that. Asha says not to get to conclusion. Fatima says she warn them, but they didn't listen, now look he played them. She says I wouldn't be surprise if he was working for Daya all along.
Avni glares at her " crackpot wouldn't do that"
" and how would you know, if you haven't forgotten he came out of know where. We also know nothing about him" she says
" I'm hurt you think that way about me"
They all turn to see Aladin with some bags and a new laptop. Avni sigh with relief " what took so long crackpot?"
Aladin smile " I had some business To handle ."
" thank God your here" Asha says
The men told Aladin if he has the disk. He show it. He quickly ran on stage to play it. Daya smile soon turn to a frown when he saw the men playing the movie. She says how did this happen, she says Aladin played her, an she will get him back.
Aladin was happy he sent a copy to his email. All he had to do was buy a new laptop, set up his things and he burn the disk. Avni seeing his phone vibrate tells him. He grab his phone and check his statues. " no way!!" He says
" what?" They all said
" Avni your movie is a hit?"
Avni was now confuse " how?"
" I put it on YouTube, and it has millions of people watching. Some agencies commented too. "
" wow"
Fatimah says " I knew she could do it" she hugs Avni out of excitment. Everyone was so happy, Aladin hugs Asha " we did it" he says
Asha eyes widen, Aladin quickly remove himself once realize what he was doing. Asha blush, Aladin stretch his hand. " now that Avni movie a hit, how about we become friends "
Asha thought about it before smiling " friends " she says holding his hand.
