But another comment in a diff post sparked this thought in me, and now I want another "anokhi wali shaadi", this type with Bani putting the ring on his finger

Hoga toh nahi I guess, but it would be amazing if, as part of her bharpaiyi, she now claims herself as his ardhangini and proclaims her vows to him. Phir public mein "proper" shaadi ho na ho, but privately they'll have vowed themselves to each other.
