i've slept and now after waking up, my thoughts on the epi are slightly different as my initial reactions. i have a lot to say. initially, i liked it, i thought it was a good epi with the revenge vibes from season 1 back but i did think the revenge was weak.
now after sleeping on it, i'm just confused honestly. there's so much i'm confused about and so much that's a mess in this season. let's get to it.
our adi naagin's revenge is the first and biggest confusion, what is she taking revenge for exactly? she wanted to take revenge from veer but now that's gone but she also still hates him so it's just confusion all around there. i get her reasons that she stated yesterday but it simply doesn't feel enough. killing monil was 100% right though and people who are saying he or ponky doesn't deserve to die, um they raped her so they do deserve to die? she did good there but she left her killing spree mid way which again goes to show how much of a mess she is.
jay entering the house and everyone being okay with it was super weird. i understand that the cv's want jay there so they can have everyone in the same roof but it feels like a huge disconnect. veer was different yesterday and he just didn't have that veer-ness in him. yes, it's because of bani but he didn't listen to every word of her previously right? having both of them under the same roof after bani is also so so so weird.
now, let's come to the main point that's pissing me off and that really is messing with me now. bani is married to veer. key word: married. she willingly decided to go through with that marriage. she has stayed there willingly. but she treats it like a joke. i understand her alms against akesh but this is a different time and you are now married to this guy, at least respect it. if you don't respect him, respect the marriage. he hasn't disrespected her or forced himself on her so i don't see why she can't respect the marriage and the pheras, if not him. bani having jay there under the same roof and acting the way she did just felt like she disrespected the marriage. your husband just got stabbed by your adi naag, do you not have anything to say to either? you didn't reprimand jay and you didn't ask veer if he was okay. it felt as if he fake stabbed veer.
when shivanya married rithik in season 1, i get that the circumstances were very different but no matter what, she respected the marriage and there was this slow progression between them. there's absolutely no progression here and no respect. we see bani melt one moment and the next scene has her hating him. it was funny to see her throw veer out but realistically, he just got stabbed and also, maybe don't throw your husband out in front of jay because it just looks bad on your husband. i can't tell what the cv's are up to, they really need to figure out this romance because it's whack right now.
and, having veer leave bani also doesn't make sense at the moment because bani doesn't have feelings for veer. she wouldn't care. it doesn't matter to her if he's pissed at her. she'd be like okay good jaan chutti meri. overall, i'm low key very annoyed with how vani was treated yesterday and i don't get her revenge, plus someone just kill jay already cause his yelling and his nonsense is pissing me off now. & what was that scene where she went to go the the kitchen and the guys got up and she's like no one's gonna follow me, like bro that felt like i was watching a whole other show. ugh.
anyways, i know you guys aren't happy either lol but let me know what you think of what i said?
