Sometimes people do that when communication is difficult or even attempt of communicating is block first hand. I meant before Mahir asked her for a date she thought that Mahir was so angry that he is refusing to listen to any explanations she has. Unless she can bring Yuvi up to him and make him clearly states that there is nothing between Yuvi and Bella. That's why she just stopped trying to make an explanation to him. She even said it herself that she will make the explanation when she can get Yuvi on board.

This scene reminds me of 2 states movie where Krissh's father went to visit Ananya's parents to pacify them for his wife's rude behaviors. But when Krissh asked him where did he go to he said that he did not owe Krissh any explanation. He didn't tell what he had done to help his son's relationship. I think it is just the same thing here. She is not saying anything because she thought that anything she said will fall on deaf ears unless she gets Yuvi to tell it for her to Mahir.

But she has been in love with Vikrant for 100 years. For that 100 years she has loved nobody else other than Vikrant. Even she was ready to let go of her position, social status and throne just to be with Vikrant. She must have great and tremendous love for him to be able to even think of letting everything go to be with him. Then she lost him in a most tragic way. He was killed in front of her and she was so driven with the pain and the lost that she vowed to avenge his death and kill those who had hands in Vikrant's death. She even killed some of those boys whom she thought the be her killer.

Then somehow this guy whom she thought was dead come knocking in front of her door and tells her that he is alive all these time. And she had moved on with another guy. For all she knew Vikrant was on the brink of death but was nursed back to health with the hope that he will be able to return to her. She does not know that Vikrant was behind everything. Nor does she know that Vikrant planned that night to happen the way it happened so that she will take revenge. Hoping that she might kill an innocent in the process so that she could lost her powers and status as the Naagrani. And he can then launch a coup and seize the throne to be the Naagraj.

It is natural for her to feel a little bit guilty for having moved on when her lover came back. It's not like they had a big fight or Vikrant did something wrong that she knew that led them to breaking up. It's that she thought he died and he turned out to be alive and come asking to continue that love story they had for 100 years. She must be in shocked and confused on how to proceed with it. But then early on after Vikrant's advances she took Vikrant aside and explained to him that she had moved on and is now in love with another guy. I think she owed it to herself and Vikrant to tell Vikrant what the current situation is. I think she will not be able to fully move on and pursue a relationship with Mahir if she left threads hanging with Vikrant.

After she told Vikrant she even gave Vikrant time to adjust with the new dynamics of their relationship. However, without the fact and knowledge that Vikrant did dhoka to her she still see Vikrant as a friend, a confidante and a person whom she can trust and will help her in times of difficulties. She still have that respect for him and even to a certain extent love even though she is no longer in love with him. There is a comfort level that is not as easily let go just like that.

But then when she decided enough is enough she even told Vikrant whom she has chosen and told him to let go of her and stay away from her. She becomes irritated with him and his advances. She even pushed him away when he tried to touch her. That's just natural process in how things happened.
