I think there is more to the gurudev story. Maybe he knows what vikrant is and his real identity.

What I understand from this season is that there are different clans of Snakes, each having their own prince/princess. THe naagmani is with Bela's clan at present and others are trying to steal it.

In all probability, Mahir is from a different clan and Vikrant from a different one. I think Vikrant lied about being from Mahir's clan to Ruhi, during their courtship since his clan may be considered as an arch enemy.

They can dedicate one episode to give a background history of naagnani and explaining who's who and what powers they have/ dont'. Its all darn confusing for a first time viewer.

Btw, Who called whom naagraj and when ?

Why are you comparing Maahir to the snake clans here because he's a human beings and hope he's always shown and stays as firstly introduced...

The naagmani is always an excuse to proceed forward with any Naagin serials

Vikrant is a snake yesterday shown as a weak one today a very strong and powerful one it keep changing with the mood of the writers.

There's NO CONTROL over the scripts so they just fill the paper with whatever passes their mind.
