Perhaps you have not seen the scenes correctly.Barely 3 months into their wedding such was the level of understanding between Behir that Maahir readily understood her signals & broke that Evil Black Bean the source of Sapera's overriding powers.When Bela and her servant Arvind were beating him up.that time also Maahir shouted Bela Bela.U urself said that he is ready to.die for her.Maahir has his limits as an ordinary human but howsoever foolish/stubborn he is when it cames to certain critical.situations he was there for her.When Aadi pushed Bela from the rooftop that time perhaps she could have saved herself still.Maahir came for her why even though she might not have needed him why? Bcoz he loved her madly.Ritik might not have been there for Shivanya's every fight but did that make him a joker or lessen his love for her? Maahir might not be a Suryavanshi nor a Naag at least for now but the tension/concern he feels for her cannot be ignored & that's what matters at the EOD? Bela might not need Maahir always the same way Shivanya did not need Ritik always but when it comes to any situation Maahir/Ritik.would stand by her.A person is not gonna die for anybody whether its Naagin/Human unless & until he feels for her strongly.
