BARC TRP week 24 - First week, breaks both seasons opening records

TRP 4.91, number one show of Colors and everywhere. 🥳

Naagin season three breaks it's both previous season opening records. Naagin season one started in 2015 with 4.5TRP and Naagin season two started in 2016 with 4.1TRP. Naagin three makes a roaring entry of 4.9 [7.35 old TRP wise] in Urban chart and this is the first time after years any show touches 4.9 in Urban chart. Nowadays show mostly struggle around 3.5. That's such a big achievement.

Naagin 3 first BARC impression is 4.91 this week in Urban chart. Show is number one in both Urban and Overall and takes the second spot in Rural chart. BARC overall impression is 16545 [7.52TRP], such a high rating after a long time. In Rural, show starts with impression of 5741 [2.6TRP].👏

Naagin is already a brand...S3 opening should be huge...even better than S1/S2...records are meant to be broken...what really worked for N3 was the story...plot n presentation along with fresh cast...i hope it sustain...4.9 is huge...big responsibility now

Yes, agrees N3 everything is perfect even VFX improved. Hope makers do justify as you said big responsibility. But still I want to know Shivangi's story. TRP is good so makers might not go back to Shivangi's one.

Guys keep commenting in IF rating article that will help us to take the Forum in TOP 5.

Actually the real thing is that time system was different and BARC was not available that time. That time mostly overall rating was counted but nowadays internet audience check mostly Urban chart because in overall chart there are lots of re-runs shows, you can see KKB re-run are always in TOP spot in overall chart and that shouldn't count according to internet.


Well Overall is the main and channel/makers still follow overall that's what decided the future of the shows. But internet audiences check Urban chart because it mostly have the new shows. Otherwise Overall is everything. And if you see N3 starts with 7.5 in Overall chart and Kumkum Bhagya got 5.65 this week in Overall chart.

We are following Urbans now and there every shows are around 3 or 3.5. Once if people get back to follow Overall then you will see every show is getting 4+ again.
