So i watched the whole episode almost 3 times today.

And i found some drastic difference between how Hariprasad treats his own Daughter with whom he has lived for 21 years, and Dev who has known Vidhi for hardly few months.

.

Both Dev and HP saw Vidhi drunk.. and both gave reaction poles apart.

while Dev trusted Vidhi from the moment he saw her drunk dancing till he went to her home to let her parents know "Isme Vidhi ki koi galti nahi hai, kisi ne uske saath shararat ki hai" the man who has spend hardly 8 hours a day in last 2 months with this girl.. knows about her so much, trusts her unconditionally that he could fight for her till the end.

while on other hand Vidhi's dad... was angry from the moment he saw Vidhi in Devs arms.. he never wanted to know why this happened and how vidhi ended up this way... all he was doing was blaming Vidhi for coming out of home for doing a job and ended up drunk.

What if she meets with an accident while cooking food at home .. would he hav said oh tumne khana banaya isiliye tum jal gayi.. ye tumhari galti hai... no right. He would have asked her to learn cooking better way so that she wont get hurt in future...then why not same thought abt experiencing the world.

and HP here was all about ghar se bahar nikalna sab fasad ki jad hai.. are bache ko ghar se bahar nikalne doge, logo se milne doge, tabhi na bacha seekhega kise kaise tackle karna hai... ache bure log puri duniya me hote hai yaar but bure logo se dar ke ghar main baithana beti ko ke koi uska fayda utha lega ye kaha logic hai.. batao jara.

And it was HPs shortcomings that he dint let her daughter experience the world to become streetsmart, and as he cant accept his own mistake he blamed it all on Vidhi.. not even once he wanted to think ke meri beti ne kitna suffer kiya hoga, kisne iske saath majak kiya and all... how bad of a father he is.. i just wish duniya me aise papa bhagwan kisi beti ko na de.

i recall this line not sure when n where i heard but fits so much on how daughters are treated in Typica conservative society...

ke beti ko chand mat banao ke har koi use ghoor sake,

beti ko suraj banao ke ghoorne wale ko jala kar rakh sake.

.

I just pray HP learns to trust Vidhi.

Here u are wrong again.people like HP even criticized her if she burn herself during working in kitchen.she is careless, lazy day dreamer and many more......there are people such like that......who will say u will borne as many daughters as u had committed sin in ur past life...means u had two or 3 daughters because u had done 2-3 bad deeds in your past life

oh then i overestimated HP.. i was talking abt general families and how they would let a girl learn cooking cause unhe betiyo se chulha chauka hi to karana hoga.

@bold.. and yes have met such pathetic people as my friends who has this typical conservative mentality... i feel bad for their daughters...
