Article: 'Mohe Rang De' to end in March

Bad news obviously! Jyo, need some light. 😭

Why doesn't the Channel just say that they are planning to end the Show because of their own whims? And please can they not blame the story or anything else? After all, none of their other Shows are that unique and are all moving towards common story lines only.

i dont think it's being done to create buzz or that it is a publicity stunt. wat will the channel or the ph gain through the publicity stunt?? the show was never that popular wid the masses and plus if they had to create only buzz so many ppl(like the channel ppl) wud not have confirmed it's end they wud have created the rumour and wud have kept mum later they cud have denied it. iam certain that mrd is ending

@ d.y. - MRD didn't start out as a potboiler serial and I am sure the COLORS honchos were aware of it. And they knew the kind of work that needed to be done to pull such a different kind of serial. Which I personally don't feel they did. Even if the Show is ending, why stop all promos or anything? At the end of the day it's money that matters and even if the penultimate episodes are fine and pull in people, the Channel should not have any qualms about it. Earlier also, MRD was never heavily promoted.

The content is a major thing and every Show has different contents. The description of MRD as a soap clearly stated that Raj would fall in love with his wife and then undergo a complete transformation. SO what's the big issue with showing a love story in between pre-independence saga? Also Kranti is supposed to get a family which she could call of her own and for which they have showed her in part as a bahu too. I don't mind the digressions in daily soaps unless and until it borders on stupid and draconian stuff.

A Show should always end, but a lot depens on Channel and PH to give it a logical ending and a good one too. It was upto the Channel to create a market for their product.

First of all this is an old article dated 5th Feb and posted at least 20 times on this forum...this article came even before all these petitions were made and we all know what the latest articles say😃...Mayb MRD will end in the future(every serial has its end😆) but not in March for sure😃
