I think these guys have hired kamakazi creatives who are ready to perform harakiri and soon are going to spell doom for the channel. Dont they realise that the shows which are on top their TRPs are the cumulative ones for 2 time slots. Both BV and Uttaran have repeats within 3 hrs.

I hope that these people understand. If they feel that it is not able to compete with shows on other channels at this time slot then they can chage it wy not have uttaran at 9:30 and MRD at 10:00 that might be a reality check for them as well.

Jyo, first of all thanks for posting this TRP chart. 😊 It shows very clearly that as far as TRPs are concerned, MRD doesn't deserve the axe, some other shows deserve it for their consistent non-performance. I am sure there is a bigger story than meets the eye and it's because of that the Channel is keeping mum. It knows obviously that it doesn't have any reason to stop airing of MRD.

Now as far as the list is concerned, even the best eye surgeon in the world will not be able to show them the truth. What they all need is a visit to a shrink so that they can sort out things within and be able to reason properly. If only TRPs are the issue, I see no reason for MRD to shut shop, especially when it is doing so well on it's own strength. No promos, no teaser trailers nothing. It's as if they have sent the soap to a concentration camp already. 😡 The Channel stopped airing the repeats at feasible hours so MRD is actually doing pretty well on it's own feet. While all those other serials have loads of promos to act as their backups. I really hope that for being so antagonistic, COLORS should soon enjoy its trip southwards.

Jo I still dont understand the logic of killing the show. And if by any chance it is a publicity stunt which lot of the times channels resort to then it is in very poor taste. They first announce ending of the show and then announce the extension.

They are coming up with some show of ekta as well which is supposed to be a thriller but it will be a weekend slot show but I am actually getting irritated with this attitude of the channel I think they better come out with an announcement soon what so ever is their decision.

Ranjna a very valid point here👏...actually competing in that 8pm and 10pm time slot is easier than competing with that 9.30pm time slot....so the channel people should hv promoted MRD more than any other soap because of the competitive time slot..but instead they r busy promoting devdas part 2 in Bandhan Saat Janmon ka😆...

Creatives and the channel people hv actually done a huge blunder by not promoting MRD...still its ahead of Bandhan which is promoted after every 5secs😡...I dunno why the channel is not opening their eyes😕..

They could hv promoted this entire Basant Panchami episodes to get high trps..but mayb the channel themselves want to put down MRD now😕

@ blue - Jyo isn't it obvious that it's the Channel which has some axe to grind with MRD? Because as I mentioned in the other post, this axing doesn't have anything to do with TRPs at all.
Of course being on the 9.30 pm slot, the Channel should have promoted MRD like anything. Instead they choose to promote 'RTA" where the female is made to walk on glowering embers ( a la SIta) to prove that she is pativrata, when her in-laws sees a photo of her with another guy in a normal situation only. Disgusting!

And as for the promo of 'Lado', I find it sickening. 🤢 SOmeone should complain to the I&B Ministry and protest.

They will Rachna you have still given them a higher spot they must land in antartica under the ice burgs never to emerge again. to hell with the channel I am not paying for this trash anymore.

these people r really bild cant tehy seeeeeeeeeeee . i'm how stupid they r no promo, no repets, but still MRD is goinmg high n they r warping up r they bilind or wat . or they have taken some bribe from opp. producation houses fro doing this i dought.

I agree Ranju, they should simply rot in hell for the injustice meted out to the serial and everybody associated with it.

As for not paying anymore, here I get it for free, but I am surely not turning it on again. One may think that I am being whimsical, but I know that if I decide something, I will stick to it. Until and unless they bring back Gavie and Prabhleen back together.
