Everyday we have new entries in this Forum who might want to know the basic Summary of this Serial and also about the Characters and so I am opening this post which will consist of a short summary of this serial and its characters😃
Summary of the Show:
Mohe Rang De is a fictional love story set in the background of pre- independence period- the time of Quit India movement. It is a story of Rajbir and Kranti who are totally different from each other. Where Rajbir is in favor of British rule in India, Kranti like her name is a real Krantikari (freedom fighter) who wants to free India from the British rule as soon as possible. Destiny brought the two together and they get married with a motive of destroying each other but soon Rajbir falls for Kranti. And this new relationship changes all his views and he is totally transformed.Rajbir changes his whole life to be with the woman he loves and Kranti finally finds her family.
The Show airs from Mon-Fri at 9.30 pm and Repeat Telecast comes at 1am in the night(same day),Next day at 12.30 pm and 6pm

Rajbir Lal(Real Name:Gavie Chahal)
He is the Male Lead of this serial..He is an England Returned Barrister..handsome..strong headed ...arrogent personality and the son of Kulbhushan Lal who is quite a well-known personality in Lahore;He believes that Krantikaris in India are terrorists and its only right that they get punished by the British Rulers and so he is in favour of the British Rule;Later he gets married to a Krantikari girl named Kranti and his life changes from there on.Right now he and his wife Kranti are both indulged in several cat and mouse games to get victorious in their respective missions

Kranti Lal(Real Name:Prabhleen Sandhu)
She is the Female Lead of this Serial..She is a true Krantikari and can go to any extent to set her country free from the British Rule;She has gone through lots of pain and torture in her life after losing her parents in the Jallianwala Baug Massacre..She has been brough up by her Mamaji but her Mamiji always hated her and even sold her by getting her married off to an aged person;Eventually she gets married to Rajveer and her life changes from there on.Right now she and his husband Rajbir are both indulged in several cat and mouse games to get victorious in their respective missions.

Sanjay(Real Name:Rahul Lohani)
He is a Lawyer,Son of a Rai-Bahadur,rich and handsome guy and also the best friend of Male Lead Rajbir Lal.He never wanted to get married to a girl his family selected initially for him but later ends up falling madly in love with the same girl.Unfortunately both the families by then become enemies and so Sanjay had to elope with his lady love on his marriage day thus leaving his family and friends forever.Right now he is striving with his wife to lead a happy life and is working in a Jewellery shop.

Nirmal:
She is the daughter of Shiricharan Babu and also the cousin sister of Kranti.Even though her mother hates Kranti but like a true sister she always supported her in times of crisis.She shares a very strong bond of love and companionship with Kranti.She falls in Love with Rai-Bahadur's son Sanjay and elopes with him against her family's wish and later gets married with him too.Right now she and his husband are struggling with life and is trying to make happy family.She is secretly doing a job of teaching few kids which his husband does not know yet.

Kulbhushan Lal(Real Name:Yograj Singh)
He is the father of Rajbir Lal and is strongly in favour of the British Role;He is a Businessman in Lahore and his only dream in life is to get the title of Rai-Bahadur from the British Government and for this he keeps on pushing his son Rajbir to blindly follow the Britishers.His strength lies in the unity and prestige of his family and weakness lies in his Rai-Bahadur Ship

Chaijee(Real Name:Anjana Mumtaz)
She is the wife of Kulbhushan and mother of Rajbir;A very soft hearted woman by nature,her life revolves around her family,she believes in spreading happiness among everyone in the house and does not have any opinion regarding the ongoing debate between the Krantikaris and the Britishers in the house even though sometimes she feels Britishers can backstab the Indian Loyalists anytime.All she wants is peace in her family.

Kewal(Real Name:Shailendra Kaur)
He is the elder son of Kulbhushan Lal and elder brother of Rajbir;He is a bit foolish by nature and always tries hard to come in the good books of his Babuji but everytime fails miserably;He feels insecure of the fact that his Babuji always insults him in front of the entire family and favours his younger brother Rajbir in each and every decision just because he is England returned.He is even thinking of revolting against his father now secretly helped by his wife.

Bibi-Rani/Madhumati(Real Name:Rinku Ghosh)
She is the wife of Kewal and the elder Bahu of the house;Her only motive in life is to become the owner of the house and take the entire property in her own hands and because of this she keeps on brainwashing his husband to revolt against his own family;At the moment she plans to get Rajbir-Kranti out of the house by hook or by crook and become the only Bahu in the house.

Buaji(Real Name:Gopi desai)
She is the sister of Kulbhushan Lal and the Buaji of Rajbir-Kewal and loves addressing Rajbir as Kaake.She is a very straight-forward lady and does not prefer the antics of Bibi-Rani too much.She is the only member in the house who seems to be a bit fond of Kranti.She has lost her husband and is staying in her Maayka at the moment.

Shiricharan Babu/Mamaji
He is the Mamaji of Kranti and the father of two daughters Nirmal-Lovely.He is a kind hearted loving man but is married to a shrewd and a loud mouth wannabe woman.He secretly helps Kranti in her Krantikari activities but never lets his wife know about it;He has equal love for his Bhanji as well as his two daughters unlike his wife who hates Kranti to the core;At the moment he is very much worried about Kranti's happiness and future and only prays for his well-being.

Mamiji
She is the wife of Shiricharan and Kranti's evil Mamiji;She strongly believes that because of Kranti only they never got the luxury or happiness in life as she is a bad omen for the house;She has two daughters Nirmal and Lovely out of which the elder daughter Nirmal has already eloped with her lover;She is a very loud-mouth woman and never gets tired when it comes to cursing Kranti..She also hates Nirmal's husband Sanjay to the core.

He is the head of the Krantikari right now after Sohan Singh's death.Kranti is very close to Rahim Chacha and offers him help at every path of their struggle against the britishers;Rahim Chacha's only motto is to free his country from the clutches of the British Government.

He is the Governor of the State and a cunning ruler of the British Government.He believes in winning cases against the Krantikaris and giving them death sentences by hook or by crook and for all this he is using Rajbir Lal as a scapegoat by showing him and his father the dreams of "Rai-Bahadurship" and "Sir" title.His only motto in life is to see all the Indians as the Slaves of the British Government.
