im confused abt this stroy pls help me

i want 2 know :

1)Is Sargam from lower caste

coz on friday epi when sargam help old woman from lower caste her sis- in- law was saying (the negative one) that "i told dada ji not 2 get marry 2 nichi jat wale gal say but he didnt hear 2 me" something like that

2) why Briju parents are running from Dada ji

i didnt get it

1.) Sargam is from a lower cast. She is also very young.

2.) Briju parents are running away because they went against that Thakur on the marriage. Briju was from a higher caste and his father is from a lower caste and they got married.

1} No ways Yaar
Sargam is a pundit's daughter
She is poor but not of lower cast
Otherwise how could she get married to Raghav belonging to such a respectable family and that too in a village where inter-caste marriages are crimes deserving fatal punishment????

2) Satpal and Chitra are running away from Dada ji coz as I said above inter-caste marriages deserve fatal punishment in that village and Chitra is from a high caste while Satpal is from a low caste. That is why, they want to kill both of them and their child
