Why are you religious and what moral ethics do you follow?
I follow the teachings of Sanatam Dharma; "Sanatan Dharma is a Sanskrit word meaning "Eternal Teachings/Tradition/Religion." Just like the word "Namaste" which indicates the spiritual nature within all, Sanatan Dharma is the recognition of the spiritual essence of life and its infinite religious expressions. The Eternal Tradition is also about many common-sense universal principles that make-up the spiritual/religious lifestyle in general and Hinduism specifically. Principles that help one to uncover the Divine that flows through all things. " - Its like pillars of morals to live by... You try to see God in every1 and every thing. Nothing has a higher status, whether it be an puppy or a human...We are all equal... Also These philophies are embedded in every religion, so it has no bound or "link" to one particular religion, it can be found everywhere because its common-sense universal practicies that lead to a better peaceful life....As funny as it may sound, look at starwars, the Master Yoda guy quotes directly from the Bagavat Gita, "Anger, greed, hatred leads to the Dark side" - Chapter 4 i think in the Gita talks about renouncing the 5 vices of the human body (lust, greed, ego etc...)...THis can be found in many scriptures as well in other religions, so its not "owned" by one...its for all... And without religion whats the point of living? what will we have? I talk to all my Muslim, Christian, Catholic, Hindu etc.. friends and they are happy in their religion, i think religion makes ppl happier....Its cool too because faith is boundless.
Who is your favorite hindu God and why?
I would say all, i know allot of things about other religions as well, but since I am Hindu I would have to say Lord Krishna, because he is the image of pure love, something we all should try to have. And yes it is hard to have that feelings but we can try............
Why are you pursuing an MBA if you already have a great job and position?
In this world, never stop learning! Also we live in a world where an employer ,No howww good you are, can let you go due to economic constraints. I doubt that can ever happen to me because I work in a specialized group, but always think about the future, my famous lines are, "its all about the long run", I am also thankful to God for giving me my job and a allowing me to study. I know some ppl who struggle more than me and study, sometimes we dont know how bad we have it till we look at someone else.. Just like Doctors, they never stop learning when they leave Med school because new technology always effect their practices. My sister tells me that Dr's are like IT majors, they always have to keep up with change...
What general piece of advice would you give for everyone to use?
Honestly, be nice to your parents. People dont see the value these days in treating elder ppl good. I strongly belive, "what you plant so you will reap", meaning, what you do now effects you tomorrow (i.e. karma). Also, Always plan for the future, what will be your next step...Planning ahead (especially while in college) helps you soooo much! Time does not wait for no one!
What are your views on creation of the world?
Lol...Read the Bramhaa Purana yar....Really tho, I read the Purana and it tells you how the world was created.....But religion aside, while i took my astronomy class, my prof told me that the universe contains 3 basic elements thats found in the human body, i forgot what they were.....(Sorry...I got a C in that class, i loved the labs at night lol)....But i belive we are all part of one big picture, whats out there in the sky is within us...We are all 1 yar!
I've pondered these myself so thought of asking you as well. 😊 - No problem, any more let me know!😉
