This is the track after the april fool track when niel entered. I didnt like the mjht track, so just as np18 did justice to mayur story, am trying to do justice to sajan story.
Some changes as a background-- Adhiraj-Suhaani have not left. Bauji had still not accepted Mayur relationship but is fond of Samrat. Bui still hates Mayank and Samrat.
Now my track begins in a complicated manner- Forget that the baby track and the SaNu misunderstanding and Gunjan's shooting had happened. Just after Mayur got married and got settled down, Nupur one day hears that Samrat has bought a gift for Gunjan.
Ab shuru hote hain meri kahani. Sit back for some drama and tears, but dont worry, no accident.
At college.
(Mayank, Benji, Uday, Adhiraj, Suhaani and Dia are at the canteen. Nupur is going towards the canteen, when she sees Gunjan standing against a pillar, Samrat in front of her. He was asking her out on another date, and she was laughing shyly. She wanted to give her answer later, but Samrat was pleading in his Bhavesh style.)
Nupur- (Clearing her throat) Yeh kya ho raha hain?
(Sajan immediately looked up and smiled at her)
Gunjan- Di..
Samrat- Nups! Hi! (He exchanged his buddy gesture with Nupur)
Nupur (Smiling)- Toh Gunjan! Date mein nahi jaana hain kya?
(Gunjan blushed and looked away shyly0
Samrat- Er, Nups. Tumhaari behen toh bas sirf do baar date mein gayi thi mere saath! Aur tum toh Mayank ko har roz din date kiya! Hain toh kamal!
Nupur- (Blushing and collecting herself)- Kya? Sammy! (She gave a sharp rap on his shoulder)
Samrat- Ouch! Nups, kya kar rahe ho! Dil toot jaayega!
Gunjan- (In a flirting mode) Di ne theek kiya, Samrat! Pata chalta hain ki aakhir tumhara dil hain kya nahi!
(Samrat pretended to glare at her, and Gunjan laughed)
Gunjan- Accha Di! Samrat! Mein library jaati hoon. Main canteen mein milongi. (She smiled and went off)
Nupur- Toh Samrat, velantines day aa rahe hain. Kya plan hain?
Samrat- Tum batao! (He smiled) Mayank ke liye kya pakadi ho?
Nupur- Sammy! Batao na!
Samrat- (Laughing) Nups! Pehle maine aaj Chashmish ko ek special gift doonga.
Nupur- Kya gift?
Samrat- Hain kuch. Parne ke liye. Jo uske par dikhana jaayega. Wow, she will look beautiful with it. (He trailed off, dreaming away.)
Nupur- Kya? Parne ke liye? (She suddenly felt a doubt, thinking to herself that Samrat was being rather odd.)
Samrat- Haan... Anyway Nups! Bataana mat. Aaj humaarein date bhi kuch special hoga! (He winked and left.)
Nupur- Yeh casanova flirt ke bacche... Kya dene waale hain meri behen ko! By god, a dress? Sirf dress hain jo parne ke liye... Nahin nahin... Samrat accha ladka hain... Lekin... (Deep in thought, she proceeded towards the girls locker)
(Nupur entered and saw no one. Absent mindedly, she went to her locker and saw a small parcel lying on the bench near the wall. She started having second thoughts, picked it up and opened it. A black, silky, trendy and short dress came out. Nupur looked at it, shocked. Her face reddened, and she picked it up.)
Nupur- Samrat! You cheapo! Kabhi nahi socha tum iss tarase... Chhee!
(She dumped it in a bin and stormed out, looking for Mayank.)
Meanwhile, at the library-
(Gunjan came out to see Samrat standing at the doorway, leaning against the door and gazing at her.)
Gunjan- Samrat?
Samrat- (Putting his finger to his lip) Shh! (Grabbing her hand) Aao!
Gunjan- Kaha?
(Samrat pulled her into the girls washroom. No girl was seen. He turned to see her face perplexed and blushing)
Gunjan- Samrat... Yeh sab?
Samrat (Winking)- Darna mat Chashmish... (Tapping her nose lovingly) Idhar aao. (He turned her towards the mirror) Look at your reflection.
Gunjan- Haan toh?
Samrat- Aankhei bandh karo ji... (She closed her eyes hesistatingly)
(Samrat took a beautiful necklace, a diamond and pearl and platinum mix, with the word Sajan embossed on a side. He put it around her neck and she opened her eyes.)
Gunjan- Samrat... Yeh...
Samrat- Haan Chashmish. Yeh mera gift aaj ki date ke liye. (He put his arms around her and looked at her reflection) Kaisa laga?
Gunjan (Her eyes misty, her one hand on his arm, the other hand on the necklace) Its beautiful! Par Sajan kyon?
Samrat- Mera januable chashmish ke liye mera unique tofah. Tum ek special dear ho... Iss liye Sajan.
Gunjan- I love you Samrat
Samrat- I love you Chashmish (He kissed her cheek) Aur ab tum date ke liye manzoor ho?
Gunajan- (Turning around and putting her hands on his shoulder) Haan!
Samrat- (His arms around her) Accha? I cant believe it! Itne asaan se maan liya? Kya guarantee hain ki aaj tum mere saath mere farm house mein chalogi?
Gunjan- Yeh. (She kissed him on his cheek)
(Startled, Samrat gave a whoop of joy and picked her up and whirled around with her)
Gunjan- Bas bas bas Samrat! (She laughed) Itna khush!
(Sajan hugged each other. At this juncture Samrat was rubbing noses with Gunjan, when Nupur entered.)
Nupur- Samrat! Gunjan! Tum log yaha! Akele! Ladies room main?
(Sajan broke apart and Gunjan happily started saying that Samrat had gifted her a beautiful thing. Interrupting her, Nupur stepped foward and looked at Samrat)
Nupur- Tumhara gandhe dimaag toh samjhi maine. Aur kitna bewakufh banainge mujhe?
(Sajan stared at her, Gunjan on one side of Nupur, Samrat on the other. They looked at each other, flabbergasted, and then)
Samrat- Nups... Yeh kya bol rahe ho?
Nupur- Haan haan. Bade bade baatein kartein kartein meri kaan bhar diya. Lekin tumhara dil mein aur dimaag mein kya hain ab mujhe pata chala.
Gunjan- Di... Tum...
Nupur- Shut up Gunjan! (Grabbing her hand) Chalo! (Turning to Samrat) Aur haan Samrat! Mere behen se door raho!
(Samrat was shocked. Gunjan was shell shocked. Before anyone could say anything, Nupur dragged Gunjan away. Gunjan looked at Samrat, who followed behind.)
At the canteen-
(Nupur brought Gunjan to the others. Samrat followed closely, calling out to Nupur. Mayank, Diya, Uday, Benji, Suhaani and Adhiraj came foward. On asking, Nupur began to complain about Samrat's character. Everyone was shocked to hear her speak. Mayank looked around to see almost everyone in the college was listening.)
Mayank- Nupur shaant ho jao.
Nupur- Kyon?
Gunjan- Tum iss tarase mere Samrat ki baarein mat baat karo!
Dia- Tumhe kya ho gaya, Nupur? Sammy tumhara best friend hain!
Uday- Nupur tum thandi thandi cold drink khao aur...
Benji- Dude shut up! Nups, tum...
Nupur Shut shut up! By god! Kissika nazar nahi aaya ki Samrat can stoop so low! Characterless besharam! Dhoka...
Gunjan- Di!
Nupur- Nahi Gunjan. Aaj mujhe bolne do... Bohot ho gaya. Pehle tum aur ab Samrat. Tum toh Bauji ka pyaare beti ho aur main kuch nahi. Main toh ek outcast. Aur tum iss tarase Bauji ke picche picche iss besharam ke saath khel khel rahe ho! Meri kasoor tha Mayank ko pyaar karna! Yehi mera saza. Aur tum?
Mayank- Nupur! Tum kya keh rahe ho? Tum paagal ho kya? Tum jaantei ho na ki Gunjan aur Samrat humaarein ke liye bahut kuch kiya!
(Flash back-
The gang in Mayanks' absence helping Nupur out when Adhiraj came; Then Mayank's coming and more chaos; Then bui then Bauji; Then the crisis through which Sajan, Benia, Uday and Suhaani strongly defended Mayur)
Nupur- Lekin Gunjan ab Bauji ko support kartein hain. Mera saath nahi hain! Aur Samart issi faida utha raha hain! Aur jo galat maine kiya ussi galat se bacha rahi hoon meri behen ko!
Gunjan- Di... (Crying) Tum iss tarase kyon baat kar rahe ho! mein hamesha tumhaari saath thi! Main tumhaari dard aur Bauji ki dard bhi samjhati hoon! Aur Samrat ko iss maamla mein kyon lete ho!
Nupur- Accha! Aisi cheap gift milkar tumhaari innocent chehra mein koi...
Samrat- Cheap? (He looked and felt more hurt) Cheap? Mera gift expensive toh tha lekin Chashmish ke liye special!
Nupur- Accha? Special? Tumhaara dimaag mein tumhaara Chasmish kaise dekhte hain?
(Everyone got stumped at her question)
Samrat- Nups?
Mayank- Nupur? Kya bakwas kehte ho? Aur yeh college hain, tumhaari nautanki ki stage ya film nahi hain.
Nupur- Haan haan. Sunlo sab...
Gunjan- Bas Di! Bas! Bandh karo! Samrat ki khilafh aur kuch nahi sunungi!
Dia- What's wrong with you Nupur? Tumhara best friend hain Sammy! Tum aise baat kar rahe ho! Tum, jo hamesha usko itna tareef karte thei!
Nupur- Wahi toh! Aaj meri aankhei khul gaye!
Samrat- (Tears in his eyes) Maine.. Maine kiya kya?
Nupur- Yehi cheap gift...
Mayank- (Snapping) Kaunsi cheap gift?
Nupur- Woh dress! (Glaring at Samrat)
Mayank- Dress? (Looked at Gunjan)
Dia- Dress? (Looked at Samrat)
Gunjan- Kaunsi dress?
Samrat- Dress? Kaunsi dress Nupur?
(Nupur stared at Samrat and then at Gunjan and then at Samrat)
Nupur- Pretend mat karo! Mayank, Dia (She told them about the black dress)
Dia- What? Nupur! Woh toh meri dress tha! Tumne bin mein phek diya! Aur maine poori college mein chhaan maari! Woh meri nayi night dress tha! Suhaani ko lend kiya tha aur wohi woh aaji mujhe waapus diya aur maine do minute ke liye locker room se bahar giya aur tumne...
(Nupur stared at Dia. The earth below her feet seemed to crash)
Nupur- K-k-kya?
Mayank- Nupur... (He looked away embarrassed.)
(Benji and Uday looked around and drove the crowd away.)
Gujan (Stepping foward)- Di... Tum kaise soch liya... Kamse kam... Di, Samrat ne mujhe ek necklace di hain. (She held the necklace hanging from her her neck) Yeh necklace.
(Nupur stared at the necklace then looked at Samrat. Hurt and quiet, Samrat walked away. Gunjan called after him but Benji stopped her. He knew Samrat would rather be left alone for sometime. Gunjan looked at Nupur and left. Dia ran after her, and Benji, Uday, Adhiraj and Suhaani left as well. Mayank turned to Nupur and said Chalo Nupur. She looked at him and then lifted her her hand to her forehead. )
At Mayur's place, the small place Samrat had rented to them-
(Shilpa, Mayank's mom had shifted in with Mayur due to her transfer from Bangalore. She was cutting some vegetables at the dinning table. Mayank was sitting with her, a glass of cold juice in his hand. He had told her about what happened)
Mayank- Ma. Nupur shaadi ki baad bahut badalchuki hain. Main uski dard samajhti hoon. Ek taraf Bauji. Usne Nupur ki dil toot diya hain aur hum unke dil toot diya. Dusri taraf uski behen. Nupur zyaada possessive aur protective hote jaa rahe hain. Tumhaari yaha aane ki pehle, Nupur har roz kahi kahi fault nikaalte thei, mujhse ladai kartein thei, Gunjan ki baarein mein bahut sochte thei aur ab aaj...
Shilpa- Mayu beta. Shaadi ki baat ladkiyan badal jaati hain. Tum fickar mat karo. Yeh ek phase hain. Tum usko kamra se bulao, maine uski saath baat karungi. Shayad woh apne maa ko miss kar rahe hain.
Mayank- Maine kamra main jaonga? Kyon ma tumne mujhe ek jungli billi ke pass bhej de rahe ho!
Shilpa- Mayu!
(Nupur entered. She was visibly upset. The image of the neckclace, a beautiful chain with a superb pendant, kept on coming before her eyes. Samrat's hurt and Gunjan's tears kept on coming up before her. She closed her eyes and sat down at the table, a plate of potatoes to peel in front of her.)
Shilpa (Exchanging a glance with Mayank)- Beta Nupur...
Nupur- Ma... Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha hai ki mujhe kya hua! Main aise kyon kaha aaj! Main apne behen aur apne dost ki khilafh aise baat ki... Ma mujhe kuch nahi samaj aa rahe hain! (She started sobbing. Mayank got up, went around the table, sat next to her and took her in his arms, cuddling her.)
Shilpa- (Putting out her arm and resting her hand on Nupur's hand) Nupur beta. Rhona mat. Aise hote hain! Shayad bahot kuch hone ke baad tumhaara ek negative vibes aaya hain. (To Mayank) Mayank beta. Tum hum dono ko akele chhod do. Maine uske saath baat karungi.
(Mayank nodded. He looked at his wife, kissed her forehead and then left. Shilpa and Nupur had a heart to heart chat. Shilpa told Nupur how she herself had married against her family's wishes, took up a job against her husband's wishes and when Mayank was but ten, his father passed away and his daadi died soon after. Life for Shilpa was very hard and depressing. She almost became negative but for Mayank. At every stage she faced an obstacle, became changed, and made friends and foes among her own family and friends.)
(Nupur stared at her mother-in-law. Shilpa advised her to talk it out with Mayank, Gunjan, Samrat calmly and individually. She told her not to make the same mistake she herself had made, of alienating people who had helped her. Nupur looked down, and remembered all the events leading up to her wedding. The day of the wedding also showed her how supportive her sister, best friend and cousins were.)
(Flashback- The wedding mandap; When Adhiraj's father saw the photo; He asked about Mayank and started commenting on Nupur's character and her family; Dia, Samrat and Gunjan kept on shielding Nupur, Mayank and Bauji; then Adhiraj spoke out in favour of Mayur; Adiraj and family leaving; Mayur marriage; The gang's shelter support; The next day; Adhiraj's apology;
Then Samrat's unwillingness to forgive Adhiraj for hurting both Nupur and Suhaani. But on Nupur's insistance, he forgave Adhiraj with a strict warning.)
Nupur- (Closing her eyes, ashamed) Par ma... Gunjan aise kyon achaanak badal gayi? (She told her about Gunjan and Samrat's conversation regarding Bauji's reason of letting Mayank marry Nupur)
Shilpa- Gunjan sirf ek behen nahi hain, ek beti bhi hain, Nupur! Meri behen bhi aise haal mein chalein gayi thi. Baad mein mujhe samajh aayi thi ki she was in a dilemna. Ek tarah uski behen jo pyaar ke liye kuch bhi kar sakte hain aur dusri tarah uski peeta jo bahut hi traditional hain dil mein. Agar tum aur Mayank pehle se tumhaari Bauji ko tumhaari rishtey ki baarein mein batadi toh aaj aise nahi hote thei.
Nupur- Lekin maine bahut hi samjhaayi Bauji ko... (She suddenly growled) Yeh Adhiraj ke bacche bhi na! Sirf uske verjade! Sirf uske...
Shilpa- Accha? Tum sab ki koi kasoor nahi tha? Woh Nupur part two lekar?
(Nupur became quiet and looked at Shilpa.)
Shilpa- Khair, chhodo! Jo hua woh hua! Ab tum socho, kaise tum tumhaari behen aur dost ko waapus layenge tumhaari pass.
(Nupur nodded and hugged Shilpa. Mayank, unseen by both, was observing them. He smiled.)
(Meanwhile Sajan could not go for the date Samrat had planned. Samrat was at home, deeply upset and thoughtful. Suhaani tried to cheer him up and then gave up. Gunjan was also at home. As soon as Bauji and Bui went off to sleep, she ran to her room to cry. Dia and Uday tried to talk it out with her and then left for their own rooms. Dia's dad, who knew everything and every side also tried to give Gunjan a pep talk before leaving. For Sajan, the night was long, sleepless and painful.)
Next morning, at the Shergill house-
(The doorbell rang and Suhaani opened the door to find Mayur)
Suhaani- Mayank! Nupur! Tum dono yaha? (She looked at Nupur) Nupur, ab please kuch mat kehna!
Nupur- (Exchanging a look with Mayank) Suhaani.. Sammy kaha hain?
Suhaani- Andar. Gunjan, Benji, Dia aur Uday bhi yaha hain. Hum sab tum dono ke pass jaanei walei thei.
Nupur- (A slow nod and a sigh) Excuse me.
(Mayur, followed by Suhaani, went into the house)
(At the dinning table, the gang was sitting and Samrat was still thoughtful and Gunjan was quiet. Everyone looked up to see Mayur and exchanged glances.)
Samrat- (Standing up) Nupur? Tum?
Nupur- Can I please talk to you alone?
Suhaani- Nahi, tum bhaiya ko jo kehna hai woh hum sab...
Samrat- Suhaani. Tum sab hat jao. Yeh Nups aur mera maamla hain.
(Mayank nodded and agreed. Everyone filed out of the room, Gunjan hesitatingly.)
Samrat- (Turning to Nupur) Haan Nups.
Nupur- (Taking out a tiffin box from her bag) Yeh naashta tumhaare liye. Tumhaara favourite parantha aur chicken. Maine aaj subhei mein banayi.
Samrat- (Gracefully accepting it) Mooh main paani aaya hain! Thanks! Par zaroori nahi tha!
Nupur- I am really sorry Sammy! (She told him why she was so changed since her marriage. And what led her to doubt Samrat when he told her about the gift)
Samrat- Oh! Matlab tumhe pata nahi tha woh gift kya tha?
Nupur- (Holding her ears) Sorry! Main aaj se tumhaara saath aise behave kabhi nahi karunga. Main tum aur Gunjan ki saath humesha rahungi!
Samrat- It is okay Nupur. Really okay.. (He gave a small smile)
Nupur- Samrat...
Samrat- It is okay Nups! Friends? (Offering his hand)
Nupur- (Breaking into a smile) Friends! (They exchanged their buddy gesture and hugged each other)
(Samrat then called the gang. Everyone was relieved to see smiles on SaNu. Gunjan looked at Nupur, and Nupur begged her sister to shift aside for a talk. Everyone waited while the sisters cleared out their differences and hugged each other.
All made up, everyone laughed, Nupur sheepishly, at the necklace and dress incident. Then Samrat announced that he has one more work to do to settle something.)
Mayank- Woh kya? Ab please kuch mat karna!
Samrat- Hain kuch. Suhaani, Adhiraj ko sms bhejo ki...
Suhaani- Abhi mein Adhiraj se zyaad baat nahi kar rahi hoon. Usne koshish karne do bhaiya!
Samrat- Phir bhi tum usne kaho ki agar woh mera ek shart poora nahi karte hain, main tum dono ka rishtey tod dunga.
(Everyone stared at Samrat)
Mayank- Ab kaunsa naya toophaan...
Nupur- Mayank. Main Samrat ki saath hoon. (Everyone became amused. Nupur turned to Samrat) Bolo plan kya hain?
Samrat- Plan nahi. Ek shart. Sab shuru hua ussi raat jab Adhiraj chalein gaye thei Bui ki pass. Aagr uska dimaag aur maturity tha toh woh humaara saath, beena bui beena bauji, sirf humaara saath maamla khatam kartein thei. Aur baad mein hum itna koshish ki lekin...
Suhaani- Par usne shaadi ki din toh Mayank aur Nupur ko support ki hain.
Samrat- Lekin ek beti aur ek baap ka rishta tod diya, dono behen ka bond bhi tod diya.
(Nupur's eyes grew misty. Gunjan looked upset. Everyone looked uneasy. Samrat looked at Mayank, who looked back at him.)
Mayank- Mujhe samajh aa rahe hain tumhara shart.
Samrat- Suhaani. Adhiraj ko sms karo ki aaj 12pm mein woh humse milne aayega yahaa pe.
At 12pm, at Shergill house-
(The gang was palying dumb charade, when the doorbell rang. Dia went to open the door. It was Adhiraj. Everyone exchanged dark looks and got up. Samrat came foward while Adhiraj also came foward. Mayank stood beside Samrat)
Adhraj- Tum sab aise kyon dekh rahe ho? (He looked at Suhaani) Suhaani, sab theek hain?
Samrat- Haan haan. Sab theek hain.
Adhiraj- Hello Nupur. Hello Mayank. (Mayur reciprocated)
Samrat- Adhiraj. Humne tumhe yaha bulaya iss liye ki maine ek faisla ki hain tum aur Suhaani ki baarein mein.
Adhiraj- (Hopeful) Aur woh hain...?
Samrat- Sirf ek shart pe main manjoor hoga.
Adhiraj- Woh kya?
Samrat- (He said something which is inaudible to the audience/silent to the readers)
Adhiraj-(Looking scared) Kya?
Samrat- Dude. Take it or leave it.
Mayank- Yeh koi deadly stunt nahi hain dude! Yeh sirf ek kaam jo tumhe karna hain.
Adhiraj- Lekin mujhe kyon? Tum sab bhi kasoor ho!
Nupur- Adhiraj. Hum kya kiya yeh hummei maaloom hain. Lekin jo tumne kiya woh zyaada kam nahi hain.
Adhiraj-Main.. Main...
Dia- Kya main main laga rakha hain. Jao aur woh kaam karo. Varna Nupuri tumhaari pitaayio karengi.
Suhaani- Haan Adhiraj. Meine jo dus task dene waalein thei tumhe, usme se yeh aur ek task hain. Himmat hain toh dikhao you are a man.
(Flabbergasted and gaping around, Adhiraj looked at Samrat)
Adhiraj- Tumne mujhe aise kyon...
Samrat- Ghabrao mat. Hum sab tumhaare saath jaa rahe hoon. Lekin tumne yeh kaam aaj aur issi waqt karna hoga. Chaahtei ho na ki Suhaani tumhe date karein? Chaahtei ho na ki Nupur tumhe maaf karein?
Adhiraj- (Thinking deeply and then looking up) Theek hain. Manjoor hain.
At Bhushan house.
(Dia's dad, who came to know about the shart, brought Bui and Bauji to the living room for a chat. Bui and Chacha were not fond of each other. Bui was at her Bhagavat Gita and Bauji was chatting with his brother, telling him that in a few days time he and his sister will be going back to Morena.
Suddenly the doorbell rang. Dia's dad, with a hopeful expression went to open the door. Entered Adhiraj, his Dad and Daadi. Bauji, Bui, and Adhiarj's family were shocked to see each other. Adhiraj's family protested but Adhiraj forced them to come in and sit down.
Minutes later the whole gang, along with Shilpa, entered. Shilpa and Dia's dad greeted each other and stood there with Mayur, Sajan, Benia, Uday and Suhaani.
Meanwhile Adhiraj faced his Dad, Daadi, and Bui, Bauji.)
Adhiraj- Mujhe kuch kehna hain. (To Bui and Bauji) Par pehle main maafi chaahta hoon. (To his Dad and Daadi) Mujhe sab kuch pata tha Nupur aur Mayank ke baarein mein. (His listeners looked shocked)
(Adhiraj glanced a bit at Suhaani and then told his audience everything. How he misbehaved with Samrat and others. How he fell for Suhaani thinking her to be Nupur. How he came to know that Suhaani was Samrat's estranged sister. How he further misbehaved and put his ego before the others. How he created further confusion by proposing just for revenge and no feeling for the real Nupur. How he came to know everything incidentally but just went ahead selfishly till Mayank told himat the Sangeet ceremony about what damage he was bringing.
Adhiraj then apologised to Bauji and Bui, saying that he intended to harm Nupur as a revenge, and intended to marry her just to avenge Suhaani. He then turned to his family and told them that he loved Suhaani but had misunderstood and misused the sitauation.
There was a pindrop silence. Mayur held hands, Dia and Uday exchanged looks, Benji and Sajan looked away, uneasy.)
(Adhiraj's dad atlast got up)
Adhiraj's dad- Mr. Bhushan. I am really sorry. Maine nahi socha ki aisa hi hona tha. Dhoka humaarein saath nai, aapke saath hua! (Mayur looked at each other) Sapne mein bhi nahi socha! (He looked at Adhiraj) Yeh tumne aaj bata rahe ho? Haan? Tum sab ek dum bacche ho! Bacche! Main chalte hoon. (He folded his hands before Bauji and then left, calling his mother to joinhim.)
Adhiraj's Daadi- (Getting up and going to Suhaani) Beta. Tum kamse kam mujhe toh bata thei! I am sorry ki tum aur Nupur ki itna hurt hua! (She put her hand on Suhaani's head) Beta. Usko maaf karna hoga kya nahi, yeh tumhaari baat hai. (She walked to Mayur and blessed them. Then she left, after a look at Adhiraj)
(Adhiraj's head was down)
Bauji- Toh tum Nupur ko sach mein shaadi nahi karne chaahthei? Tum kissi aur ko pyar kiya tha?
Adhiraj- I am sorry Uncle. Actually Bui ne mujhe kaha tha ki Nupur mujhe acche lagte hain. Aur main...
Bauji- Bas, bas. Aur kuch nahi sununga. (He became quiet, not looking at anyone. Mayank made amove towards him but Nupur stopped him and shook her head.)
Bui- Accha. Adhiraj. Theek hain. Tum Suhaani ko pyaar kartein ho. Toh mujhe bata thei toh mein... Khair.. ( She suddenly looked at Sajan looking at each other.) Babloo beta, Gunjan aur Samrat ke beech mein kuch hain kya?
Adhiraj- (Without thinking) Haan hain. Ek dusre ko baut pyar kartein hain, shuru se. (He felt a sharp rap on his back as Benji threw a small pebble, from his pocket, at him. He stopped, realising what he had said.)
(There was a silence in the room. Mayur who were relieved suddenly felt alarmed. Dia and Uday looked at their Dad pleadingly and horrified. Benji kept his hand on Samrat's shoulder. Sajan stood there rooted to the spot.
Bauji looked up and Bui glared at Gunjan. Nupur observed it and quickly moved to between her sister and Samrat.)
Bui- Mujhe pata tha! Dekha, bhaiya? Ek jhoota ladka Nupur ko le liya aur ek chor ab Gunjan ko? Nahi! (She got up) Nahi chhodungi tumhe! Badi behen ko piccha karke karke Mumbai aaya aur ab ladka bhi dekhliya! (She stormed towards Gunjan)
(Gunjan gave a cry, and Nupur moved in front of her.)
Bui- Hat jao Nupur! Ek thappad.. (She tried to slap Gunjan, but Nupur somehow prevented it. Samrat and others looked on alarmed.)
Nupur- Ruko Bui!
Bauji- Ruko.
(Bui stopped gesticulating and looked at her brother)
Bauji- Samrat. Idhar aao.
(There was a stoned silence. Then Samrat looked at Mayur and Gunjan. Nodding, he came to Bauji's front)
Bauji- Kya tum mujhe batane waalei thei iss baarein mein?
Samrat- Haan. Gunjan aur maine faisla kiya tha ki hum aapko humaarein pyar ki baarein mein bataaonga. Hum ab humaarein padai pehle khatam karunga, uske baad naukri dhundunga. Uske baad...
(Mayur looked at each other.)
Samrat- Bauji. Mayank aur Nupur ko bhi yeh plan tha. Lekin humaarein prank ki verjade Adhiraj Nupur ko khatrein mein daal diya. Nupur mera behen jaise dost hain aur Gunjan ko maine pyaar karta hoon. Mera farz tha, ek dost ka farz iss maamla mein. Lekin haan Bauji. Gunjan aur main aapko aur takleefh nahi dena chaahthe thei. Humne aapko baad mein batanewaalein thei.
(Mayank looked on like a proud brother. Nupur's eyes grew misty. Benia and Uday exchanged hopeful glances. Dia's Dad went foward and stood beside his brother and gave a reassuring nod. Bauji looked at Samrat.)
Bui-(Still glaring at a downcast Gunjan) Gunjan. Jao aur saaman pack karo. Tum kal mere saath Morena waapus jaa rahe ho.
(Gunjan looked up, alarmed. Samrat looked at her and then at Bauji.)
Bauji- Nahi. Gunjan yahi rukengi. (Turning to Samrat)
Bui- Par Bhaiya!
Bauji- Maine meri dusri beti ko kho nahi chaahti hoon. Nahi chaahti hoon dusri baar galat. Samrat beta. Khush raho. Main bahut khush hoon tumhaare aur Gunjan ki baarein mein. Maine tumhaare parivaar ki baarein bhi jaanta hoon. (He put his hands on Samrat's shoulders. Samrat looked up, happy and misty eyed) Main bahut khush hoon.
(Gunjan rushed to Bauji and embraced him. Mayur held hands smilingly and looked at Shilpa. Dia, Benji and Uday happily exchanged high fives. Dia's dad looked on happily. Adhiraj looked relievd and so did Suhaani. Samrat looked at Mayur)
Samrat- Bauji. Please Nupur aur Mayank ko maaf karein!
Bui- Bhaiya! (She came foward) Bhaiya! Yeh aapne kya kiya? (She looked at Samrat with disgust then at Gunjan)
Bauji (Ignoring her)- Samrat beta. Ab mein tak gaye hoon. Tum sab ab jao. Maine kal mera decision lunga.
Bui- Bhaiya. Kal hi humme jaana hai. Gunjan ko..
Bauji- (Snapping) Tumhe acchi tarase pata hain maine meri betiyaan ko kyon bheja! Uss Chintu... (He stopped, and looked away.)
(Samrat, Mayank, Dia, Uday, Benji, Shilpa, Adhiraj, Suhaani and Dia's dad thoughtfully looked at GuNur, wondering what they had missed.)
Buaji- Good night.
(He left)
Bui- Hey bhagwan. Agar woh Chintu ne... (She glared at Nupur then Gunjan) Chhee! Mujhe tumse baad mein baat karne hain Gunjan. Chup chaap mere kamra mein. (She stormed off)
(Gunjan looked scared. Her chacha bade everyone goodnight. He went to Mayur and blessed them, telling them if he had been there, he would have helped them out. Shilpa and Mayur left. Benji also left. Samrat glared at Adhiraj, who looked away.)
Samrat- Suhaani. Tum bahar jao. Mujhe Candy se kuch kehna hain.
(Suhaani and Adhiraj left. Uday went to the kitchen and chacha went to his room. Gunjan went upstairs)
Samrat- Candy. Adhiraj sab gadbad kar diya. Humaare plan two kuch aur tareekh se karna hoga.
Dia- Sammy. Tum fickar mat karo. Aakhir tauji ne maan liya tumhaara aur Gunjan ki rishta. Ab dekhna. Candy ka kamal.
Samrat- (Laughing and then looking up) Er Candy..
Dia- Haan haan. Mujhe pata hain. You go ahead. When you sms me later, come to the terrace (She winked)
Samrat- Candy! (He grinned)
Dia- Chup chup ke main usko waha le jaaongi. (She kept her hand on his shoulder)
Samrat- Thanks Candy1 9He gave her a buddy hug and left)
Dia- Ab dekhna. Tauji, aaj aapko maine saarein baatein bataongi. Aur Mayank-Nupur ki khilafh aapka koi feelings nahi hogi! (She smiled and turned around. Uday from the kitchen gave her a thumbs up sign. She smiled back and looked up at the stairs)
Bui's room-
(Bui was walking up and down. She was thinking. Suddenly she thought of something.)
Bui- Haan! Mujhe usko bulaana padega! Aur iss baar main handle karungi. (She picked up a phone and dialed a number. After sometime a voice was heard. She delightedly said ''Chumpu?''
Bauji's room-
(Bauji was silently sitting in the deck chair. He was thoughtful. Suddenly a knock was heard. He looked up to see Dia)
Dia- Tauji! Kya main andar aa sakti hoon?
Bauji- Ao beta.
(Dia brought a balm to put on his forehead. Her Tauji was impressed)
Dia (As she began messaging his forehead)- Tauji. Maine aapko kuch baat karnei hain.
Bauji- Kya beta?
(Dia told him everything, from day one when her cousins came from Morena. The ragging; The talent parade; How Sajan and Mayur met, became friends and foes respectively, How sajan helped each other, how maur helped each other, the radio contest, the jungle adventure, how mayank and samrat never ever took advantage of her sisters or anybody; What events eventually led to Mayur love and Sajan love, How Bui mistook Mayank for Babloo and Samrat for a chor, the Morena track, how Mayur decided to tell bauji about the relationship after their studies, how sajan fell in love, how adhiraj and suhaani confusion happened, how bui misunderstood mayank when he had told her about mayur, and how mayank brought the ladder out unwillingly.)
Bauji (As Dia finished her story and messaging)- Accha... Theek hain beta (He sighed) Ab tum mujhe akele cchod do. Aur haan, balm ke liye thank you.
Dia- Jee tauji.
Bauji- Tumhaari dad ko yahaa bulao.
(Dia nodded and left the room. After calling her dad, she folded her hands and said a quick silent prayer.)
At Gunjan's room-
(Gunjan was silently sobbing. She was so scared today. Suddenly a knocking sound came. She got startled, and got scared that it was Bui.)
(Bui entered)
Gunjan- B-b-bui...(She looked away)
Bui- Gunjan, tum.. (She was about to go foward when Uday called saying that Tauji wanted to talk to her. Bui turned around and faced Gunjan) Bach toh gayi par iss baar nahi.(She left)
(At once Dia and Uday entered and dragged Gunjan away)
Gunjan- Dia! Uday bhaiya! Kya kar rahe ho!
Dia- Shh!
(They brought her to the terrace.)
Dia- Gunjan. Andar se lock karo. Jab tak mein nahi kehti hoon 'Ab bahar aao' tab tak tum andar rehna! Jao, jao!
(Dia pushed her sister in and closed the door.)
(Gunjan was not sure, but locked the door. Then she turned around and saw Samrat. Gasping she looked around then remembered the door was locked. Samrat stood there, his arms beckoning her. Tears streaming down her face, Gunjan rushed into his arms. Sajan hugged each other. As she sobbed, he held her, consoling her.)
