Today..sigh, I dont know if I found Arjun better or Rati..seriously I was so involved in Mayank and Nupur that I cudnt really see them as anything but Mayank and Nupur...
the beginning, the way he lights those candles and tells her how all that u need is love.. and nothing else matters.. simple, elegant and direct dil se.. you could feel a warmth in the words and as he goes to kiss her, she closes her eyes in anticipation....its a beautiful moment broken by a phone call..
She excuses herself, watch the expression on mayank's face when she does that, he is almost shocked, but lets it be..she goes of, u can see so many emotions on Nupur...mainly
D E S P E R A T I O N.. her face is wrought with worry ..and as she pleads, she is lost.
Mayank comes and tries to ask her, be there for her, but her reaction to him, her emotional outburst, shocks him, she uses all her will power to unleash her anger at everyone and Mayank is for once more than just shocked, he is numb, in denial and almost broken as she says there are other people in my life..
Her pain is unbelievable, she is in so much pain that she is almost unable to contain her grief and the grief she channelizes as anger..and all she can see is a almost emotionless Mayank..
As she is leaving, she knows Samrat and Gunjan have each other, but Mayank is the one who has lost her all over again, you can see that emotion clearly on her face, as he walks away...woh meri nupur nahi hai...he cant believe that, his nupur can ever ever go away overlooking such heartfelt tears..
Mayank knows its his nupur, so his grief is manifold.. Nupur is in immense pain (and trouble it looks like) she wants Mayank to stop her, yet doesnt want to stop for she knows she will cause only more pain..her life is a mystery to us, but needless to say she has had a tough life and there are too many emotions pent up...
Emotional yet just right, totally perfect !! I seriously bow down to Arjun and Rati for making me believe in Mayank and Nupur!
