Like you said there was no proper story to sustain the show, thus S1 was sinking no matter wat they tried.
The whole point of the leap was to keep the show going, even though they had run out of storylines..so what, replace the existing characters with new ones, and recycle the same crap on them...wah kya strategy hai...tryin to fool the audience without having to actually rack their brains to come with a story.
What they failed to realize was S1 though lacked proper content or execution, still had the saving grace in the form of actors, casting of S1 fitted well.
S2 seems to be result of some pathetic planning, they were boasting of some steel glass look for the Axel college 😕 ....where was all tat? So much inconsistency in characterisation, Ash for example interacts with samrat for a couple of epis and falls for him 😲......undergoes a makeover to become another salwar-clad heroine 🥱

that was my whole point of the topic.glad someone got it!! they focus too much on the icing rather than the cake.its all candyfloss.lacks substance.and if they think audience is going to appreciate this stupidity then they are grossly underestimating the audience's intelligence

LMAO that's true.....keeping aside everything, i can say that for the first time i stared liking MJHT as a whole in s2, not bcoz of nupz death...ppl will go into conclusions soon....they didn't make fun of any serious issue, the interactions...everything, which always lacked in s1....poor newbies.....they must have worked hard to cope up with old ones....bcoz everyone was inter-related, not like s1 where we had jus MN n SG, others used to jus pop in n out, jus for a particular scene....incase they wanted take out some ppl, they should have given a proper ending for old couples, n send them somewhere....but y newbies (though i wouldn't have watched it then)? poor ppl, they must have come with some hopes
