Exactly.Season 1 started off on a pretty predictable note.... It took some time for even Season 1 to get appreciated. Towards the end it got pretty random, and the college was there only for the name sake. There were no classes, no professors, and the issues like the baby track, the ending of the political track were pretty random. And yeah, logic and reality was nowhere near.
Season 2 is pretty much about the real problems of youngsters, their professors helping them get over these, counselling them over issues such as depression and stuff which are huge nowadays, dealing with crushes over professors etc.... So I feel definitely Season 2 has an edge in terms of storyline.

i'm glad to see more ppl enjoying the season 2 track

though the base of season 2 is in season 1, season has got its own charm, may all are not willing to see that but it's true

new cast are surprisingly good, i never expected, i never expected this frm new season or frm new cast.... but the way the new actors fit in to the shoes of their roles is good.... all three of them are good in their roles, though 'can improve' will always be there.....when s1 started, samrat (mohit) was raw in acting, but now he is too far away frm that....in season 2, need not even say, what an amazing job he is doing
n so is the track, inter personal relationships are amazing
they didn't limit that to SG, RA or SA.... the way they brought up relation between R n S, G n A, Ria n M, M n S....the recent development... G n Ria, Ria n A.....
infact in season 1, it always looked like benjy was the only BEST frnd of sam other than gunjan.... mayank was always a good frnd only
but in season 2, the depth in their characters n relation is good that now i believe tht their they were BEST frnds....

Well i'm enjoying season 2! its waaay better than season 1, atleat we can see a storyline! And atleast the characters are talking to each other! Rather than just couple based.

Sonya, welcome to this forum and to the group of people who are genuinely enjoying season 2 ... this group does seem to be increasing in number slowly, am happy to see! Really enjoyed reading your posts - hope to see you more often in the discussions ... I'm a little out of things these days, but I'll be back soon with my inputs too.
Just wanted to add ... loved your take on the Samrat Gunjan consummation ... i had posted something very similar on the symbolism of the whole scene ... but I hope there is no child ... for me, the symbolism was exactly like the Parineeta scene, and I hope it resurfaces in the plot in the same way ... not with a baby in tow.

i hope it ends on sg marriage rather than ruining their story further.only some sg fans are liking sg track as it is on their favourite once it ends their is nothing left in the show.not the s1 audiece which used to like diya benji and uday.even if rati comesback the show will still end coz the fun part were bengi dia and uday.

To be honest im too depressed about Mayur to praise anything about the show, from the cheating, lying 🤬 that brought them. I kind of agree with some of your points, but im just never gonna accept it! i cant stand it!!
