I have so many points in my mind regarding this track ..one maybe that maybe its sajan's track after all and nothing to do with acting...but on the other hand gunjan should not lose this oppurtunity.....then again there is no mention whats her real dream...so u cant say...Mayur fans are gonna just keep saying acting is not her domain..but sajan fans will keep saying why not? well...this discussion ends nowhere .

No one here is pre-defining Gunjan's dreams... She herself defined it, when she said she doesnt want much else from life except Samrat's n hers togetherness...

Is it really wrong to express if something seems out of place? She can go ahead to act, we cant stop her anyway... :)

Gunjan ...has only talked about what she wants from life ...in terms of happiness & love 😳...when did she talk about her aims & aspirations in life😔 ??

I did read all the posts made on this topic ...& most of them do suggest ...that everyone's trying to set domains for Gunjan ....why ??

I don't mind honest opinions ...but i am not certainly up for biased opinions😕

sam did say inside of her she wants be special...shes multi talented but shes tooo shy to get it out..Samrat is helping her to define her dream side by side..all her dreams maybe singing,acting next maybe dancing hehe

^^ It's not about biased... I think I would have said the same if Nupur had decided to quit acting as her dream and go for a quiet life, because its not who she is... Gunjan is a great actress, that was proved, but did she ever want to be one? Is it who she is?

I noe dreams and opportunities are 2 different things altogether, but the basis of this track seemed a bit difficult to understand... I hope u get my point now.. :)

but dis is actually vry starnge dat she agrees 2 act...i mean 1 can b gud in many thngs ....bt dat does'nt mean dat d person actuly wana do dat thng....2 take dat thng further.....if nupur said yes 2 actng dat would hv been perfectly f9..bt gnjn..althgh vry gud in it n agreeng 2 choose it as her career optn is vry STRANGE cz she nver xpressd or aspired 2 bcum an actress....she always portayed of gtng famous or watevr through her studies...

I am not questioning Gunjan's talent, I am sure she would make a good actress.

The whole point about pursuing ones dreams doesnt come into picture in this case because Gunjan is not interested in this dream, so technically its NOT her dream.

Ofcourse, there is nothing wrong is pursuing something interesting (like in this case- acting) because you want to give it a try or you have some "majboori" .
Here, Gunjan is clear she doesnt want to give it a try, so how can it be termed as pursuing her dream?.

I think, it would've made more sense if the guy was a music director, singing is something Gunjan was passionate about, even though she was shy , she loved singing, the same cant be said about acting.

Sorry abt Quotin myself,

I still fail to see how pursuing her dreams meant pursuing an acting career..

That she should try different things is her choice, she says she is no "katputli" so, people cant tell her what her dreams are... but them its almost like she has been told to follow her dreams...but she never DREAMT of acting, strange isnt it?

Again, She loved music, Sam first heard her when she was singing in the music room,

So She had a passion for music, the only problem was she was too shy to sing in front of others.

This was when Samrat helped her over come her fears...now thats called pursuing ur dreams..(atleast to an extent,..)

Here we dont see Gunjan acting secretly or ever mentioning acting ..so why will she pursue it as a dream..

ofcourse, if it were entirely her choice to try out something new I wouldn't 've minded one bit as obviously she was talented enough to get selected.

So, if Nupur decided to spend the rest of her life peacefully as a housewife, you would question that too? And dreams and opportunities are related- it is only when you get an opportunity like this that you realise that maybe this was what you wanted.Acting in a film is not something everyone can imagine.

Its not particularly u whose biased its the general people..... and u r saying this track is difficult to understand well...........then i dont see any reason for creating this topic - "Gunjan and Acting-does not makes sense!" (to the person whose made this post)

aparajita ... and all ... again, her dream is not acting ... her dream is to be seen as herself - as Gunjan.

That's what Sam said ... one of the most beautiful and meaningful dialogues of the last Sajan scene - when he says - we all want to lose ourselves in the crowd, but somewhere inside us we want that people can find us in the crowd ...

in other words, we all want to be seen as someone special, someone different, someone unique ...

and she says to that - how do you know me so well ....

so that is where she's said what she wants ...

and that is why she will decide to take the opportunity ... but whether she actually goes through with it, i don't know. I guess that will be the crux of the track - defining for herself, her dreams and her boundaries - but she wants to define them for herself, not for anyone else, nor have anyone define them for her - my guess is, including Neil ... and Samrat understands that completely.
