Shows plots are very important to increase the TRP of the show and to create more curiosity, the makers and writers include some high points in the show, which were also the major turning points in some films as well. So here are some of the shows where the track has been inspired by films. Just like how Bollywood films are inspired by Hollywood films, our serials are inspired by Bollywood films.

Bidaai from Maine Pyaar Kiya
STAR Plus' Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai has a little touch of Rajshri films, like tradition and customs and also the actor Alok Nath, who is Barjayata's favorite. The track which was borrowed from the Salman Khan starrer Maine Pyaar Kiya was when Prem comes to Suman's father's (Alok Nath) house for their marriage proposal and in return of this Aloknath (Suman's father) asks him what's is your basic salary and how would he take care of Suman (Bhagyashree).

Similarly in Bidaai when Alekh comes to take Sadhana, Mamaji asks him what is his identity without the Rajvansh family, so he works in a construction company just like Prem (Salman Khan) worked in a construction company.

Dill Mill Gayye from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
STAR One's Dill Mill Gayye saw a great twist in the comeback of Dr.Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) but Riddhima is shocked to see Dr.Armaan, who has comeback after her marriage. Dr.Riddhima tells him the truth about her marriage similarly how Aishwarya(Nandini) tells Salman Khan (Sameer) about her marriage to Ajay Devgan (Vanraj).The show is getting a good response from the audiences.

Choti Bahu from Vivah
Zee TV's hit show Choti Bahu is famous for the pairing of Radhika and Dev. After much difficulties Radhika marries Dev but there has to be some twist in the track and their marriage sequence happened with the maha-twist in which the bride gets burnt before the saath pheras and the same sequence has been taken from the Shahid Kapoor – Amrita Rao starrer Vivaah.

Even the scene of the fire was taken from the film and insipte of Radhika's critical condition Dev accepts her as his wife. The response to this track helped them to boost up the TRP of the show

Sajan Ghar Jana Hai from Mera Goan Mera Desh
STAR Plus' prime time show Sajan Ghar Jana Hai's present track involves lots of action as the main lead Dhaani has turn into a lady dacoit with the help of Ambika Bhavani a local dacoit, who is a positive character and his character is inspired by the old film Mera Goan Mera Desh especially by Vinod Khanna's role. The show has got a good response whether it was the entry of Ambika Bhavani or Dhaani's transformation into a lady dacoit, Devi Bhairavi.

Naa Aana iss des meri laado from Lajja
This prime time show on Colors is based on the female infanticide in the rural areas, especially the northern parts of the country which still prevails. During the start of the show there was a scene in which a villager kills his new born daughter by drowning her into milk so that God will give him a son, this scene was taken from Rajkumar Santoshi's Lajja in which the same scene was there…they have shown the authentic truth of rural India and the show got a good response from the audiences.

Miley Jab Hum Tum from Heyy Babyy
STAR One's youth oriented show Miley Jab Hum Tum recently witnessed something different from other shows. A baby was introduced in the show and it was shown that the baby is lying outside the boy's room and this scene was lifted from Akshay Kumar's hit film Heyy Baby.

Do Saheliyaan from Kshattriya
Zee TV's Do Saheliyaan is the story of two friends and it's main theme is borrowed from different Hindi films. Rabadis (milkmen) and Rajputs and the fight between lower and higher castes which is followed by an intercaste love marriage, and in this war between the two castes, the rabadi women dies. We have seen such tracks in films like Parampara, Kshatriya..

😆....every show is inspired by a bollywood film in some way or the other....but what i feel sometimes is that, don't these guys feel ashamed in ''direct lifting''!!.....i mean getting inspired and then doing your act from there is fine....but if u put the same whole scene without changing it even a bit, this looks really shoddy!!!!....And i,as a viewer, feel ashamed watching such ''direct lifts''........What are creatives of a tv serial get money for when they can't even think innovative sequences!!....

As for MJHT, well am happy that atleast they inspite of doing direct lifting, change the track a lil. bit at the last moment....but otherwise MJHT is a Big Cheater Cock undoubtedly....
