as far as them not lukn lyk a couple..then i totally DISAGREE! we hav seen so many cute scenes between mayur..lyk in colj 1st day bak after ther confession both of them tryn 2 find each other, uday bein kaba mein haddi, mayank gifting nupur mayapuri, udays bday party..wher mayank wipes the cakes cream off nupurs face (uff they lukd soo cute..jus lyk a real couple)..nd tht terrence scene..nupur tryn 2 say ilu..etc

im my opinion they do luk lyk a couple..xx

You know Manali, honestly I, actually all of us have complained so much that I'm simply tired of complaining and criticizing the show... It seems like SUCH a waste of time and energy when our criticisms/opinions are never taken into consideration by the creatives and worse they are dabaofied by few people in the forum itself as basically being as the part of a minority so small that its almost insignificant... We are not an insignificant minority or even a minority here, but thats what its being projected like so why should the creatives take any notice?... Yaar EVEN if we are a minority, our voices deserves to be heard and not be debased, and should atleast be taken into consideration.

Regarding the track, I totally agree! Well said yaar! You know two characters in the show that I would say are as different as chalk and cheese are Mayank and Uday... Its obvious why they are so different so I wont go into that. But I will say this, these days the MayUr scenes and Mayank himself remind me of Uday and his scenes. And that really says a lot. Such kind of buffoonery from Nupurs side where she wants Mayank to wear her 'pyaar ka locket' or how Mayank is so sickenly love-sick with Nupur (which reminds me exactly of how Uday was love-sick behind Tamanna and CJ) and totally Hitler-like with his insistance on Nupur saying the three words... Its just unnatural. I don't even recognize these characters anymore. They've become cariatures of their previous selves.... In the beginning sure MayUr had humor and comedy but the difference in THAT type of comedy and this type of comedy is that, THAT was NATURAL. It came from MN's inherent differences and was not forced in anyway... It was relatable and made us all laugh WITH them... But this kind of comedy is really artificial, because it is not consistent with their characters at all, their characters are being exaggerated and made to do stupid stuff just for some cheap laughs... and that too we, the audience laugh AT them and not with them... Unfortunately, the creatives don't seem to have realized the difference here and since they saw that some MN scenes made us laugh, they relegated MayUr to the 'comedy' jodi and fed us their Uday-brand of Ghajini-comedy through MN...

The worst part about this is that, while such an exaggerated humor is okay for Uday's characters as he is supposed to be a comic relief and isn't really supposed to be a complex, three-dimensional character... This kind of comedy really strips MayUr of their essence and just their complexity. They're human-beings for godsakes, not some cartoon characters who just act totally stupidly all the time. Just like a good pizza should have the right mix of many ingredients so should a good healthy relationship, there should be emotional bonding, romance, humor, ego (you cannot have an 'I love you' without an I), compromise (You cannot have an 'I love you' without the you) etc. all in a balanced measure. An excess or shortage of any ingredient can spoil the taste... This date was an excess of stupidity and humor, and short of proper emotional bonding. Or in simpler terms, I always think that there are two essentials features to have in every healthy couple... that is attraction (this one's a no-brainer) and friendship. I see a lot of attraction with MN, but the creatives have shown little to NO friendship (aka emotional bonding) between MayUr... Case in point, how many times have we seen a simple scene with MN just TALKING and sharing their honest thoughts like normal human-beings, like normal friends? How many times have we seen post-confession Mayank NOT thinking romantically about Nupur (which he does ALL the time)? How many times have we seen Nupur actually considering and introspecting on her feelings for Mayank? Hardly to never. This is what the creatives have turned our MayUr into. Honestly I'm sorry I don't care if I'm reported with this, but I think this needs to be said....I don't see ANY creativity or respect or attention to the audience's demand with the way they've handled the MayUr track... I think some of our FF-writers would've done a better job... I just seriously despise the show for what its done to one of my favorite pairs! 😭.

I concur each and every point made and specially the ones in bold. MN are tossing between useless comedy or forced fights. Bahhhh...seems like the CVs have seriously run out of ideas. Yesterdays MN scene wasnt bad...but as you said it all looks forced. Ugh!

@Manali: I also clearly remember everyones request for a simple date with lots of talking and emotional bonding but sigh as usual we were nt even close to the T of talking or the B of bonding. All the pivotal points of MN 'supposed' lowe track are just being scripted and displayed in the most AWFUL manner. Its not just aggrevating but also a BIG letdown for MN fans. Additionally, they're wasting immensely talented actors like Arjun and Rati by giving them substandard scenes with second-rate dialogues...🤢...Only time will tell how much more lower they can sink.

You know i feel so miserable when MN are sidelined! in a way they ain't sidelined, but they are treated in such a way as if they are the least important characters in the show..MN are the strenght of Mjht as SaJan are! Both are equally important for the show, but the recent date has truly disappointed me. M & N are very good actors, they dont deserve such a treatment from Mjht.

I really LOVE you for this post and I totally agree with you! 👏 👏 The treatment of Nupur's character on this show has always been an issue with me, especially the things the makers try to pass off in the name of N's 'filmy-ness' are absurd n cringe-worthy to say the least. Are they trying to show that N has an awful taste?? 😕 😕 She may not be aware of the latest fashion trends but she is definitely not tasteless that she would buy a heart shaped locket for her BF because she in unable(😕 😕) to say "I love you" . And pray tell me in which bollywood movie (at least the famous ones) did we see the heroine gifting a heart shaped locket to the hero with their pictures embedded in it coz she is choking when she has to say "the three magical words"? 😕 😕 😕 What is with M's cut out obsession- both in the form of pics n cardboards ? SERIOUSLY, NOBODY does such stuff in 2009 , even in MOVIES! And an erstwhile normal and realistic couple like MN shown to be doing things that are totally out of sync with the current times is unforgivable! The makers should learn the meaning of the words CONTEMPORARY and SUBSTANCE before they start penning the next MN 'track! Before that they need to retrospect on the ORIGINAL character sketches of Mayank Nupur.

The premise of M pestering N to say "the three magical words" n N not being able to say IT is ABSOLUTELY FRIVOLOUS (not to mention , totally out of their characters) and the idea of trying to forward the MN 'story' or 'track' based on it , to add the 'fun' element to the show just proves our claims that the 'creatives' are completely incapable of coming up with something solid n substantial when it comes to MN. Since when has "happiness" begun to imply paltriness? 😕 😕

i agree..they r ruining mn's relationship..the quality of scenes they get r nt upto mark..with such gr8 actors they cud have done much better..nt to deny that not much bonding has been shown after their confession 😒
