After seeing today's episode , I feel that what Sam is doing is not right. It is unfair - mostly to Strawberry Shortcake Gunnz and a little to Veronica Lodge Sheena. Why? Well, here is what I think.
Sheena is perhaps nothing but a new toy that Sammy has got his eyes on . Remember loving that doll and that flashy red toy car you saw in a toyshop as a child which made you forget the world? He is as besotted with Sheena as men are with a new posh machine. She is his definition of gorgeous , has an attitude to match it and plays flirty mind games with Sammy and he likes it. Because , perhaps for the first time in his life , a babe is giving him attitude. So , until he gets to date her and make her confess that she is ready to die for him.... the stud inside him will not rest in peace. Samrat is THE DUDE... how can any girl have the nerve to unnerve him?.....Flirt with her , charm her , ensnare her ... BUT GET HER.
And what is he doing in the process? Not only is he taking Sheena unconsciously for a ride , he is hurting Gunnz BIGTIME. He has no time to speak to her , his eyes keep wandering away from her , he doesn't spend time with her.....He is taking her for granted , without realizing it in the least bit. I mean , just because you have a new thrill in life , you don't forget your best friend who has stood by you through thick and thin. It is very natural for Gunnz to feel bad. There is hardly a layer of jealousy in Gunnz but she is deeply hurt , even though she disguises it pretty well and keeps convincing herself that Sammy has a life of his own. Sammy has such deep bonding with Gunnz that he cannot make any sense of what exactly he feels for her.... and how he mentions her in every second sentence of his , even if those sentences are spoken to that stilleto-heeled Sheena.
And today , he lied to Strawberry Shortcake that Veronica Lodge asked him for a lift! Sheena did not do that at all. It was Samrat who teased her , cajoled her and convinced her to sit on his bike - cajoling to the extent of waiting till she gave in.
I don't think there is anything we can blame Gunjan and Sheena for. Gunjan is feeling bad not just because Sammy seems to have a thing for Sheena... more so, she feels neglected and secondary. And Sheena is responding like that because Samrat is giving her all the attention and all the signals that sweep a woman off her feet.
And what will be the result?
Sammy will waltz around with Sheena , maybe even propose her... and then.... LIGHTENING!....THUNDER!......"Oops sorry, babes. I love Gunjan, my chhotu-motu khargosh. You are a mistake!"......ZOOM to Gunnz..." I am sorry, Chashmish. I was so blinded by Sheena's Versaces and Christian Diors, that I could not see my love for you."
This may even affect Gunnz and Sheena's friendship. And I don't wnat to see Sammy as an immature cad who breaks hearts. Creatives need to handle this carefully.
