I will like to repeat what some people have already said about Mayank's firmness of decision. He wants himself to believe that he isnt in love and disregards those few unguarded moments in Ahmedabad as madness or a temporary lapse of reason. When someone as determined and dedicated as Mayank decides to take hold of himself, he succeeds in it too.

But I am sure there are moments when he cant keep up the show. I still remember the collage of thoughts they had showed after the beach episode - featuring all 4 leads... Mayank thought about the times spent with her even so early in their friendship. Wasnt he serious abt work back then? Of course he was! And now that he has been through instances when he has questioned himself about being in love, it is impossible to believe that he doesnt think of her. Its just that the creatives dont explore that angle and we dont get to see him in quieter moments when he isnt studying or smirking or busy in some other 'focused' activity..

From his outward behaviour these days, no one would say he is in love. He is rude to her, stays away from her and doesn't even spare her a stray smile.. (mere baare me toh socha hota! 😭😭😆)

I can only pray that he has basked in this glory of achievement for long enough to please him. Sigh..

a thought sneaking in once in a while can't harm, but here is where i think they completely lost focus of the mayank-nupur track in all the rose day hoopla and the short-shorts-sheena.

seeing as how limited mayank and nupur's screen time is, showing flashes of mayur's subconscious desires may be just a tad too much to expect...

I agree with your main point of the post. They should show more of Mayank thinking about Nupur once in a while when he is not studying. However, its not like they never showed him thinking about her since they were back..
