Part 1

A snowflake glided down towards its destination merely it was a chilling night of winter birds were still making different sounds in the night, snowflakes makes its way finally falling to the ground from the heights of the sky, making it's way to the life , mixing with the rest of the snowflakes until it creates a white blanket…The Blanket of peace...'It was the cold chilling night and he was here looking for her along the cliff, Mayank moved restlessly along the cliff, it was too cold but he was not feeling the chillness in the air, covering his bare parts he moved ahead looking at the image, a Girly image in front of her..

He looked at the girl who was sitting on the ground which was indeed a snow bed at that moment, she was in front of him playing with those snowflakes, she was clad in white attire, a white wedding attire her head bend down looking at those white snow. Her life was also white like that snow void of any color.

He looked at her as she started moving the snowflakes impatiently as if she was searching for something from underneath it, She moved restlessly increasing her pace, digging harder and more harder, still moving her hands more vigorously to find what she was looking for, a crease was visible on her forehead.

Mayank looked at the girl, He was feeling an inevitable pull towards her, His thoughts instantly went to Nupur, He sighed grimacing…."Where is she…?? Why didn't she come there…why…??" He thought, concern for her took over him. "Is she alright…??" He can't believe that he was here for almost two to three years now but still was not able to find her. He looked at the girl little smiling her thoughts always made him smile. She was something like that. She always uses to fill her surrounding with her essence. She also loved to watch the snowfall, It felt so enthralling and invigorating to play with them, when it rests on your hands light as air... Each snowflake was so monotonous, yet so unique.

Mayank frowned seeing the girl "who was she and what was she searching there, what..???" He tried really hard to look at her but was not being able to see her, "who is she…???" He thought again.

"What is she doing here..???", rubbing his hands together in this chilling night, It was too cold, there were snow all around and he was not wearing anything hot to cover himself he rubbed his hands together restlessly trying to keep himself warm, He instantly moved his hands and placed them into his pockets and moved towards the girl to see who she was..??

Mayank went in front of the girl trying to observe her, who was she..??? She was looking downward. He was unable to see her face as her face was covered with the laced cloth of her wedding dress hiding herself from the world, Mayank frowned looking at her," who is she..?? Why is she sitting here..???"

"What is she doing here in this chilling night..??" He thought of moving her cloth from her face from which she was covering herself relishing his thoughts he moved his hands closer to her face, as he removed that cloth from her face, removing the lone barrier that was there between them and he looked at her downcast face and was hell shocked to see who she was…

The girl restlessly removed the snowflakes still searching for something, seeing her determination it was possible that the thing she was searching might be really important, It might be really dear to her heart, to her life, She frowned not being able to find it..Restlessly she moved the gulp of snow flakes, Her eyes brimmed in fantasy, in happiness, the glint in her eyes was expressing that how important that thing was, plucking the object carefully she tried to remove it, she took all care not to harm the object, taking all her care to protect it from getting broken, moving her hands so elegantly, she tried to pull it but just frowned as she saw it was tucked there between some twigs.

she tried to remove it taking care to not break it, she could afford to let it break it was too close to her heart…she was plucking it when she felt someone remove her barrier she had laid upon her to prevent herself from this cruel world…in the process of looking who it was her hands jerked the locket vigorously which she was trying to find there , she had buried it here to remove that memories that always haunted her, Nupur looked at the broken beads of the pearl which got entangled from the locket, released from it same as happiness has vanished from her life, shocked she looked at the locket, It was broken, she flinched looking at it, her eyes brimming with tears which instantly fell down as it found its way to escape rolling down her cheeks making its way through her neck falling down on the snow mixing with it…It got broken..!!!

She couldn't believe it. It was so dear to her, so dear, Mayank has given it to her on her birthday and now this was the most important thing that she had to connect with him, to feel him and now it was gone'…'Gone in vain'…'Broken'…'Just like her…' She was also broken…broken from this life..!!! She cried looking at the broken pieces of the pearls, desperately she tried to gather them in her hands, as if she was trying to gather 'the mirth', 'the happiness'….That had vanished from her life, she desperately plucked each of them picking it up carefully and keeping it in her hands closing it not to let it fall down…she thought desperately "Why…??? Why is god doing this…??? I left him…??? I did…??? I just can't face that pain and now..I cant face it anymore…I ran from him to relieve my self from the pain still I am not able to relieve myself…why…??? Why is god making me to go through this…??? Why can't he let me cherish his memories …why...?" She cried lost, desperate to find some happiness…she looked at the locket and caressed his face smiling, a instant smile crossed through her eyes as she looked at his image in the locket..which vanished ass soon as it did came to her lips looking at the person in front of her…"Mayank…."

Mayank looked at lady after removing the barrier she had laid from him, he narrowed his eyes on her…she was Nupur…!!! Yes she was Nupur, shocked he looked at her, she is here…?? Here finally….?? His face paled instead of happiness, bliss he had amazement in his face which was paled…

He observed her what is she searching there, what…??? What is she looking for …??? What in that snow…??? He saw something there which made him delighted, it was that Locket, that same locket he had given her on her birthday night, He smiled moving his hands through his hair remembering that night, it was so pleasant night..He observed her as she removed that locket from the ground buried deep in the snow; he frowned thinking How did it went there…??? How….??? How can it…???

Nupur looked at the man who broke the pearl, It was Him…Mayank…Why does he cant see me happy…??? Why….??? Why is he here..??? I don't want to go through that pain again…I just don't…!!!! why does he keeps haunting me always..why..??

Why is he here now…??? Why…??? I had told him that I can't face that pain…then why is he here…??? I was so broken to leave him and he keeps haunting me, mailing me…I can't…I just can't face this pain. It's too much and now he broke my locket, That locket that I had with me…why did he do this…??? Why…??? Can't he see me happy…??? Why is he here..??? Angry, shocked she looked at him with a horrified expression on her face, with tears in her eyes still flowing freely…She looked at him not believing that he was finally here…

"Nupur….You are here…???" He asked her catching her hands

Nupur looked at him horrified she jerked his hands walking back from him, getting away from him so that he could not hold her..She didn't wanted to do that again so that he can again broke her…That love can again defeat her…She didn't wanted to get 'Defeated by Love' again…she moved back slowly looking at him, her eyes narrowed in anger…Why is he here…??? Can't he see me happy…??? He broke that locket too. she looked at it tears brimming again through her eyes falling down merely, finding its way down to land on his arm..

Mayank moved towards her frowning why is she moving back why…??? He looked at her carefully, he could see that she was shocked to se him there, moving closer to her he tried to gather her in his arms again…to hug her…He frowned as she felt wetness in his palm.. "Why is she crying…???' why…???" He held her trying to see her properly..pulling her closer he hugged her…just to be left aghast as he saw her disappear from his eyes right in front of his eyes, she got vanished from his sight…He frowned. "Where did she go..??? Where..???" He looked restless trying to find her, tears brimmed from his eyes too…"where is she..??? Where..??" finding its way to fall down

"Why is she playing with me like this…why..???" thinking that he looked for her restlessly moving along the cliff getting slipped in the process because of the softness of the snowflakes that had gathered on the ground. Moving almost Bare, he was still not feeling cold as the intensity of the moment was so huge that he didn't felt the chillness in the air, it didn't mattered to him that he was there bared in this cold night…He moved his eyes looking for her but growled not finding her anywhere 'where is she…??? Where did she got vanished…How..??' suddenly his eyes caught her she was standing at some distance from her moving backward from him, looking at him still..Mayank moved towards her trying to hold her in his arms, to relish her, How much he had missed her??, moving ahead slowly taking one step at a time he found her moving back from him, he frowned looking at him..Why is she moving back..why…???

"Nupur…??? What happened…??? Why are you doing this..??? Why are you going away from me…??? Why…??" He asked her moving towards her but growled as she moved back still away from him.

"Go away Mayank…Go away…??? I don't want to see you…just go away…" She told him moving back still…She was right at the edge of the cliff…

Mayank looked at her shocked after hearing her, What is she telling…??? Why…??? He moved ahead to take her in his arms but was shocked to see her at the edge of the cliff…horrified to the death he looked at her still not believing that it was happening…seeing him coming towards her Nupur moved her one leg back losing the balance she fall back right into the edge of the cliff hanging to the hands of Mayank as he caught her..

"Nupur….!!! Stop…Plsss….dont move….you will fall….Plss…..dont….???"

"Nupur heard him still she moved back. She didn't wanted to face this…no she was exhausted now…Why doe it pain to be in love…why…??? She had expected it twice…why does Love always defeats her…why…??? Looking at him she moved back telling him…"No Mayank…I am going…I am going Mayank…I am going…I cant face this…It hurts…It hurts to be in Love and get Heartbroken by the person you Love….!!!!" She moved back loosing the balance…Mayank looked at her as he lost her balance and was in the way of falling off the cliff…horrified he moved closer to her and caught her by his arm not letting her fall back, horrified to death he looked at her she was safe….Safe…I wont let her fall..i just wont….He told himself but frowned seeing her laugh, seeing her smile…She removed her hands from his grip and went into the depth of the cliff into the darkness…The darkness of the Hell…!!! Away from him…Mayank looked at her shocked and shouted….looking at her helplessly why did you do this…why….??? Tear escaped his eyes…..

"Nupur…..Don't….????" He shouted and got up panting from his bed horrified, "He growled his heartbeats still high, heart beating hard…"Why….??? Why these dreams still do haunt me….??? Why….??? What is it trying to tell me….What….???? Why did she leave my hands…why….???? Why sis he so sad…why….???" He grimaced groaning He didn't knew…He didn't had any answer..The same dream it always haunts him always….She would disappear and then fall off the cliff…"why….??? What is she trying to tell me…???? What…???"

"Is she in danger…is she….???" Mayank frowned …no she can't be…Why doesn't she reply to me…why….??? Why doesn't she come back…why…??? Doesn't she love me…??? I am waiting for her here…It had been seven Long years…It had been a long time…why is she not here why….????

" Why did she leave…???" That same question, which leaves him numb, why…??? How can she get defeated by Love??…'The pure Feeling of Love…???' I was here…We could have faced it, faced any type of barrier, Yes we could have..!!! Why is she doing this?? I am waiting for her since seven years…She is not contacting me too…not receiving my any mails….Not replying to them…why…??? and for how long will she do this..??? Why…???… …He grimaced thinking his heart still heaving due to that dream….It was too horrifying and during these recent days it was haunting him more…why…???

Mayank got up from the bed pulling off the comforter off his face sighing he moved his wrist to cease the sweat from his fore head he was sweating badly in this chilling night it was 2 degree cel. Last night and here he was sweating…How cant he…??? What a horrifying dream it was, anyone would be shocked to see something like that bout the person he loves…He moved towards the kitchen looking for some water to drink, He sighed his heart was still beating really hard he tried to calm himself down..Moving towards the fridge…He opened the door of the refrigerator and took out one bottle of water chilling his restless throat, keeping back the bottle into the rack he looked for some bear as it was a chilling night and he knew that he will not get any sleep now, taking out the Fosters bear can he moved out of the kitchen hitting his foot in his way to the side of the wall…He cried in pain…"Aaawww…..SH** man…Damn-it..It hurts…" He groaned in pain sitting on the ground keeping the can aside and looking at his foot, it really pained but not more than the mental pain he was going through…he told himself.."What is this pain Mayank…??? Its Nothing..?? It's negligible in front of the pain you are going through this past Four years…" He growled getting up and walked back to the cupboard and opened the door and took out the Locket which he had purchased for her to give it to her when he was going to propose to her….

Mayank looked at the locket, Yes he had taken it to give it to her…but she left him that day only…He growled remembering the incident, sighing he looked at it, moving his hands he opened the locket to relieve the picture beneath it…It was the picture of his and Nupur which he had made by himself, just for her. Remembering the awe full day of his life, when she had left him, he grimaced, his eyes becoming moist looking at the picture he caressed her face in it..Relishing her, trying to feel her through it.."Why….??? Why did you leave me…why…??? We loved each other…was that pain so unbearable that you left us for seven years and you didn't even tried to contact me too….Why Nupur…???" He grimaced thinking tears flowing freely now, a helpless sob escaped his mouth and tears fell on the ground making its way through his face…crying helplessly he thought of that day ..the day he had met her first…That first meeting when she had made him look at her…He grimaced…."Where are you Nupur…???" Where….???

He remembered her last words before leaving…."I had to go Mayank…I had to!!!!" she told him helplessly tears flowing from her eyes looking at him in his arms..….I can't face this pain anymore…I just can't, I am not ready to get heartbroken again, not now..??? It hurts…really hurts badly..!!!" She told him..

He remembered her cruel words still, he did it often haunts him, why did he do that..??? Why….??? Why did he make her cry and go through that pain again from which he had removed her when she was heartbroken by that Guy…why….??? He sighed he was helpless…He knew he had hurt her too…he knew it, but he did tried t stop her he was determined this time…He wont hurt her…He still remembered..

"Nupur…I wont hurt you…I wont, Not now…please don't go…please don't go now..?? I just can't leave without you…I cant…I need you Nupur as much you need me. I was jerk, stupid to leave you that day but I know it that I was wrong…please don't go..Please…I won't hurt you…I wont…" I said, my heart growing heavier by the moment, the emotions now just pouring on me now it was too hard she just cant leave like this., "I promise to never hurt you again. I promise I would never question you again and if I do, then I promise I will listen to you. I promise," I said hesitating, the words now growing too heavy for my heart, "I promise I would never ever leave you stranded all by your self ever again. I want to be there with you, wherever you maybe, I want to be there with you, holding you hand, looking into your eyes and telling you how much I love you.". He told him crying still helplessly, pleading her to stay and don't leave him…He pleaded her.."Please Nupur…we will face it…we will…!!!!" He told her..

Nupur looked at him, he was crying and it hurt her, she also wanted to stay to be in his arm, she wanted and now after he had told him that he Loves her she dearly wanted to stay but she was scared, she was scared…!!!! really scared to get heart broken again… to feel vengeance and that hatred again…why…why does it pain to be in Love…?? She had made herself strong for this moment for past few days that's why she hadn't talked to him from the past few days after that day when it all happened again….she didn't wanted to get hurt now, not now…She looked at him..

"No Mayank…I can't…I can't go through that pain again. it really hurts to be in Love…You had promised me not to hurt I was afraid to fall in Love..i was afraid to fall for someone again after rahul broke out with me.." She told moving back from his embrace and looked at him…"but you came into my life and changed all that….you tried to make me fall again for you…you made me and I fell for you, I was so happy but you also did hurt me….you did ..you left me there alone…all alone with out anyone to take care of me when I needed you the most and you left me telling that its Over…" She stopped as her eyes brimmed with tears remembering that day again, she cant believe that he wo0uld have done that, she had came there to look for him and he did that…She was heartbroken…she looked at him her eyes shining in tears as it flowed freely.." I can't afford to Love again Mayank. At least not now…No I have to go..i have made my mind…" She told him determined….

Mayank knew that he had loosed the battle to agree her to stay here, to make her to believe him that every thing will be fine....She didn't believed him…He looked at her helplessly…"Nupur…plsss don't go..i Love…."

Nupur huffed at him.."No Mayank…!!! Plsss don't make me weak…I have to go..i have to…" She told him…"I Love you too….but I cant let myself to be in Love now..if I will get heartbroken then I will not be able to cope with it…I wont be…I will come back I will…Mayank…I will meet you one day when I will be ready to fall in love again…I will….."

Mayank grimaced thinking, She had told him that she will meet him one day and it had been Long Four years since she had left for 'Paris' and he was here waiting for her for these Two years…Yes he had came here after completing his internship to look for her and completing his MS in neurosurgery to…Yes he had completed it and was among the top medical Professionals of "France…" He always goes to Eiffel tower looking for her to see if she comes there one day…she had promised him to meet there as he had told him that he would come to meet her…but she didn't came one day…she didn't….He grimaced…!!! Caressing her face from the locket he kissed it and kept it close to his heart with tears starting to fall again and he drowned in sorrow of being away from her and got lost in those days when he had meet that beautiful lady…THE Girl Nupur….!!!!

Mayank was driving in his Mercedes, His latest car going to college… car was moving at the rock hard speed, he was driving very fast looking ahead hearing the rock music at very high pitch, he adjusted the mirror of the car looking for the image of himself checking out if he was looking alright..He was always conscious about his looks. He has to look good for all those girls of his college; smirking at himself he beamed "I am too good…." He told himself..Yes and he was too…That's why girls were always floored by his charms and on top of that he was a billionaire. His dad was the best neurosurgeon of India…changing the gear of the car he was moving to the music that was blasting in the car…He just loved the song…." Rock-on….."

He sings to the tune moving to the tunes still driving, suddenly he caught someone in front of his car frowning he immediately stopped the car screeching pressing the brakes harder..Car screeched and halted….He glared looking ahead opening the car door he came out of the car glaring, burning in anger he was ready to kill the person who cane beneath his car….He looked at the person and was amazed to see who it was…!!!!

Nupur was standing at the bus stop…She was waiting for going to the college, she had just been arrived in Mumbai leaving Delhi…She couldn't afford to leave in Delhi anymore. It hurt her to leave there in those memories so she came to Mumbai when rahul had called him here, as her parents had died in the accident just few days back, so she had transferred to Mumbai.

She was looking at the road waiting for the bus, when something caught her eyes…she sighed looking at it…"Awww….How cuteee…." She giggled through delight taking step towards the road moving closer to the subject that caught her eyes, she looked at him .." He is too cuteee….SO shooona…" She told giggling…she just loved the creature that caught her eyes…Looking at it she was moving slowly to catch him when she saw that a car was coming close to the little Puppy…horrified she ran towards the puppy to get him out of the way, panting heavily she caught it by her hands and looked at the car but it was too late…horrified she closed her eyes looking at the ground…holding the puppy to her chest scared to death.

"omggg….what will happen now..???" she was horrified, she clutched the edge of her dupatta hard and twisted it holding the puppy closer shielding it from getting any harm..and scaring her life for that small creature…!!! She heard a screeching sound…."Omggg…..i will hit me in few seconds now…I will die….Mamma I am coming…I am so sorry rahul…I cant fulfill my promise…Horrified a tear escaped her eyes…she was going to die… Huh…??? She thought.

"why didn't it hit me …??? Why…???" she thought frowning. "what was that sound..??", she opened her eyes to look at the road the car had stopped just inches away from her feet, she sighed clutching her heart, it was raising too high she was scared to death…coming back to life she heard the sounds from the puppy….. "Uuuummm….oooohhh….uuuummm…."

He was shouting scared too. Nupur instantly held the puppy in her lap and caressed his fur, she giggled feeling pleasant sensation she felt by touching him, he was too furred…there was fur on his whole body he was a little dog….caressing it…she heard some noises from the road looking at the source of the noise…she saw that there was the man from the car who was shouting at her, anger took over her, How was he driving…??? How…??? Doesn't he have any sense…??? If he doesn't then I will teach him some…..she blazed in anger keeping the dog on the floor and hushing him to get off the road she looked at the man…None other then Mayank..!!! Glaring at him in anger..!!!
