Nupur....The Ignorant Phool!

I didn't want to call her a 'fool' because she isn't one at all but she's so ignorant towards her own feelings. She is a huge filmy buff and has so many ideas about ishq vishk pyar vyar but she doesn't even realise why Mayank's friendship means so much to her. I know she's always chirpy and bubbly but I think it hurts her a lot when Mayank is mean to her. Your heart just goes out to her because shes not doing anything wrong and I think Mayank should realise that by putting up a cold front, he is doing much more than repelling her...! Just because she doesn't show it doesn't mean she doesn't get upset. Plus right now shes not getting attention from anyone (including her own sister)so its sad to see such a genuine person being ignored for no reason.

Mayank is basically in big time defensive mode right now.....Nupur is no doubt adorable with her antics and it would be very difficult for anyone to not melt in the face of that....Mayank DID for a few moments, if we remember.....he did smile and chuckle a bit when she made that comical face....but overall, her always popping up in front of him like a Jack in the box when he's trying very hard to bring some 'normalcy' as he likes to think of it...back into his life.....his irritation is understandeable.

But all that aside, I agree that Nupur deserves more respect and consideration....but for that, the creatives will have to be kind enough to show more than just random comedy scenes from Nupur......Mayank has always been like this....he doesn't have patience for frivolty...from Nupur, Samrat or anyone else.....so his reactions are not surprising.

Nupur first needs to understand her own mind and her own feelings as you rightly pointed out. But I doubt that will happen anytime soon since the creatives seem more obsessed with stretching this endlessly by only giving MN random moments....
