Nupur is tired out after a long day at college and is struggling to complete some assignments at home. Gunjan notices her frustration and advises her to take a break. Nupur jumps onto the idea and decides to go out for shopping the next day. She wants to take Gunjan along but Gunjan remembers flashes of Nupur's bargaining back in Morena and gets out of it by saying she has lots of work to finish. Nupur then decides to take Mayank with her and lure him into it by getting him a nice new shirt.

Next day she goes to his place only to see him all set to go out to a book fair. Nupur plays along and says she will accompany him. But midway in the auto, she asks the driver to change the route and much to Mayank's exasperation, they reach a shopping mall instead. At the mall, she starts browsing for this outfit and that accessory, dragging Mayank along everywhere, saying that he better learn the ways of the world which are not always in his books. She pulls him into a shirt store and has him forcibly try one after another, calling the shirt a token of their friendship for him to remember her by. She showers comments on how this shirt complements his frown and that makes him look even stricter.. He settles on one if only to quieten her and then drags her to the book fest. Nupur finds it too dull and makes faces as he talks about different books. He points to a mayapari stall and tells her that even her loved mayapari qualified as a book, thanks to which they had their jungle adventure.. Nupur buys some and says that it wasnt a book but a magic spell and she cud never thank it enough for having been the catalyst in their friendship. They smile at each other and continue shopping.. their polybags get exchanged sometime in the process and back home, they excitedly open their bags to show Mum what they'd brought home. Everyone laughs when Mayu reveals mayapari and Nups reveals the shirts..
