Colors can't let go of Shakti so easily

From a marketing point of view Shakti means big bucks for the channel...

The channel has no Male face currently who can be used in reality shows or can host award functions...

Siddharth Shukla has been the face of the channel since a long time...
However I believe he has literally done everything on the channel..
He was part of their iconic show Balika Vadhu, he has participated in Jhalak and KKK, he has even hosted IGT6 and was part of CNWK bua's wedding episode as well as BB9 new year episode ...

Until he does Ashoka on the channel, I don't see any new thing he can do on Colors...

Now coming to the main point,
Siddharth not only has a huge online fan following on twitter and facebook but also is very popular with the general audience, specially housewives as the perfect husband SHIV..

I have seen people watching Jhalak for Shiv-the character..

Same applies for Shakti as well.
He has a great fan following on social media and the TRP audience loves him as the perfect Lover RANVEER.
So why not capitalise on the same?


Experimenting with Radhika as the female face of the channel didn't yield good results but am sure Shakti as the face of Colors would be best for business...

They clearly have their Female Face in the form of Mouni Roy who is doing an awesome job...



Change is the law of Nature.
Drashti replaced Pratyusha, Mouni replaced Drashti as the face of Colors..

So I believe Shakti too is a perfect choice for the Face of the channel

PS- I would request you not to bash any of the actors mentioned here...

no the channel always need marketable actors who can bring their own set of audience to their channel.

They need actors who have a great fan following and can be used in more than one show on their channel.

Colors used and promoted Drashti as the face of the channel for two long years...
She did madhubala, won jhalak, hosted GPA for two straight years and jhalak for sometime, anchored their holi event rang de colors, was the only TV actor to be part of Mission Sapne season 1..

Same goes for Pratyusha n Rashami Desai...

Exactly same thought Nidhi.Then why Shakti accept Sony TVs MMHV as a host 😕😕

The channel has never seen any opportunity in them ... when they were on air, they did not cash him so cashing him after the show is gone is no more than a surprise...

@Pooja Agree wid u. I ve never seen ShaDhika anywhere when all other stars from different shows were present there. In CNWK when every star was there ShaDhika were missing. There r many examples.

Yep, Roshni. Even in CNL, all serial actors are appearing again. Except Shadhika. How weird of Colors.
