The episode begins with Ishaani assuring Devarsh and chetali that Meheras were simple people and they were interested in the people and their nature not our wealth and money ,Devarsh is worried about insulting the invited meheras, who might get offended with their living standards .
Baa and Ishani assure that warm hearts were more important than show of wealth, Devarsh is sceptical , chetali complains they had not engaged any caterer , sihaani says baa would cook gujrati fare and she would prepare Punjabi, All are happy with this idea .
Soon ishaani learns how manas was bringing up his baby as a single parent, she notices how parul helped him handle the baby, she notices Manas telling Parul that he was taking the baby for vaccination and she offers to help him out for the day by accompanying him to the doc and looking after the baby . RV-Ishaani angry confrontation takes place .
Ishaani retorts he was not teasing her , he was helping her with her dupatta, RV shouts he had mistaken is understanding her all over again , he wanted to be away from her so that he could stay happy, Ishaani says she too will be happier than Ritika if he stayed away from Ishaani and close to Ritz .
As ishveer move away , both get teary eyed and think that they will never be able to stay away from one another how much they tried, they had to try harder , Both get teary eyed
Prateek ushers in the Meheras , all are in Punjabi suits and they are so pleasantly surprised to be greeted with satsriakaal from the parikh family, They greet and meet one another warmly , Ishaani is very happy .
Shikhar is very happy to see Ishaani looking so pretty in red suit, He praises her looks , she asks him about his case , he informs he won the case and this time he had taken lesser fees than ishaani , he fought for a poor innocent man , he felt very happy about this.
Shikhar stares at ishaani and notices her sadness and that she was looking at the door and waiting for some one, He assures her that some one would not come here as he had promised to Ritika that he would look after her at home, Ishaani remembers how RV had reacted on the streets that very morning, Shikhar feels that ishaani was tensed due to something he tries to cheer her up.
