I wanted to stay away from this topic but then couldn't resist after reading certain comments.Why this taunting tone towards members who are not very fond of Ishani's acting?This is a discussion forum, some will like the acting, some won't.The members who aren't fond of the acting put their views here in a normal tone, without taunting the actor's mentality or attitude. Simple.What's the use of bringing male dominant attitude etc..etc.. In all this? So if a person has a problem with the walk, he/she is narrow minded? 😕In that case, accepting forced marriages and glorifying them isn't a very beautiful idea either. 😊
First of all, if you all are interested in women empowerment, obviously this is not the show! I watch another show on Life OK, ADHY that is more along that lines. You can find the woman trying to overcome all the struggles that society imposes on her for no fault of hers. very realistic (at least so far...). It is from the same makers. So obviosuly this show cater to a different set of audience. The premises of the show does not promise any upliftment of society or moral message to the youth. it is just another typical love story... From my serial experience, they all follow the same pattern with different background... you can only expect so much from them!I am not talking about women's empowerment, I am talking about the basic human right of being able to decide who you want to marry. That has nothing to do with upliftment of society. It is about treating your family members justly and not emotionally balckmailing them.Secondly, No matter how much you lament in this forum, make sarcastic comments against A to Z in the forum I dont beleive its going to change anything. On the other hand, if you stop watching it and help contribute to dipping TRPs it may help...
Thank you but you have no right to tell me what I should watch on my TV. That is totally my decision.
I am not syaing you cannot comment on anything negative.
Do I need your permission to say what I want?
If you, in general, enjoy the show but cannot digest certain things, then it is worthwhile to dicuss about it and try to bring it to the attention of the makers who can then modify certain things. But from the looks of it, the majority who come here in the forum does not even like anything about the show. The heroine is dumb, hero is a puppy lover with no backbone, the villain is the only person worth watching, the actress cannot emote or even walk well... obviously something is wrong with the show and you all need not waste your precious time on it...
I decide what I waste my time on. Thanks for the advice anyway!Thirdly and most importantly, some people may actually like it. All this negativty might be repelling to them. I think apart from the fact that the show is moving at an agonzingly slow speed, it is a different story... There is a hero with a one sided love/obsession, heroine who's blind in love and a mother who is torn betwwen her past and daughter's future... I kind of like it. I watch it on and off.. I also find it frustrating that ishani cant get over her blind love, chirag keeps winning against all odds, ranveer doesnt seem to move on... Even I liked the character of Rithika and wished Ranveer will end up with her. But instead of complainging 24/7 about all these things , I try to ignore the bad episodes and watch on and off to see if it gets better... When I come to the forum to catch up on latest news, all I see are these negative posts. I am sure people who like the show have no place in this forum...This may sound like moral policing.You just said you were not interested in moral messages so I did not think you were moral policing anyway.
Sincere apologies... But I am writing from the perspective of a neutral viewer. I dont know Shakthi arora or radhika madan and do not find them particularly appealing or digusting. I have no vested interests in any of these characters or ators or makers.. Why cant we make this place a little more beautiful and peaceful? We can request for a frustrations section where all the frustartions can be taken so that the forum is not floooded with so much negativity...
@krackjack and @ sunflowerfield
I do not wish to fight with anybody in a virtual world... I was talking in general and obviously some people got hurt! Its interesting that I did not mention any names but still... . I can debate with you for hours but I will just be wasting my time since I have better stuff to do... I have a life outside this and come here only for some relief from my hectic life. I do not want to pollute my life with unnecessary arguments. If you thought I was personal, sorry...
Anyway, lage raho.. Go ahead, watch the serial and keep doing what you are best at doing...
At least Now I know what to avoid...
Good bye and good luck!
