I do not think Shivani is bad. I would give her benefit of doubt. She is Radha's manager and she told a lie to save Radha's career (at least she thinks that).

She is the only "friend" Radha has in her professional life.

True. But then there is the "Director's License" . If a superstar can be hanging around a budding actress in Mathura, then there will be a way that the contract will be nullified.
