So I watched all the promos ... and yesterday's episode.
Nothing new in terms of premises, in fact quite contrived .. Aloknath's character is a vry archaic patriarchal and chauvinistic (and kinda overbearing too ?). Bohot hi regressive mentality ka khaandaan lagta hai.

What I am loooking forward to is for LD to start trying to make their relationship work ... and convince Radha to give their marriage a chance. I like the idea of the guy trying to win his wife over , his attempts seem endearing 😳 =] .. Trying to make your marriage work instead of dismissing it altogether. I am old fashioned (and die hard romantic) like that I guess. . Oh and the O(not)ST is amazing .. From that Kabootar wala Salman Khan movie I think.

As soon as I saw the first promo for this drama is was hooked. I kept watching the promos over and over again just to see LD 😆
I cant wait until we find out how they really got married.

The granddad does seem quite old fashioned and you could tell he didn't like that his daughter-in-law could speak English, I wonder how he will react to Radha when he finds out that LD and Radha are married.

Same here , I watched the promos baar baar ... partly cuz of LD and partly cuz the soundtrack is so beautiful ... Radha is a lil too negative at this point but I am glad LD is trying so hard ... hope she sees his sincerity .. And as for HOW they got married ... woh toh they showed in the promo na ?

He plans on getting back at her for making fun of his name ... so he tells her that they are shooting for an ad commercial with a shaadi scene in it ... and the pandit ends up saying REAL mantra

And I toh skipped all the grand dad scenes after the first one . UFF. Can't take all this khaandaan parampara nonsense 🤢

I saw the promo of them getting married but it didn't say anything that LD was getting back at her. I figured out from there that maybe they were doing a play and had to do a marriage scene but the pandit ends up really marrying them. Thanks for telling me though. I don't think I would have been able to wait for too long to find out what happens.
And yes I also hate the whole patriarchal, old fashioned ways stories. They really annoy me. I will only watch from LD and Radha. Its better if they focus on LD winning Radha over without any family problems.

I agree :)

A guy trying to win over his wife...that's what interests me & I'm sure it will make great viewing. That' s what stood out for me in the promos. Looking forward to how it all progresses.

As for the Kabootar wala Salman Khan movie 😆 Yes, that was Maine pyaar kiya. Seen it a million times as a silly kid & imagined myself in heroine's place 😆 sounds sad but that was a time I basically worshipped Salman Khan!!
