Hello everybody, this is sad to say, this show is all about CONTINOUS negetivity, abuse, mental torture and humiliation. And MOTIVE is ''TAKING DOWN THE TARGET''. When subject is ready reshape the mind and use it as a resource to fulfill their ambition.
But for that, environment must be negative 24/7, 365 and year in, year out. She must go through this horror and endure the imotional pain and trauma endlessly without break, off time, weekend and holidays.Otherwise she will comeback to square one. In movie 'constantine', LUCIFER had to wait 20 years for constantine to be ready. In this show, how long ''CREATIVE TEAM'' is going to wait, we have to wait and see.

One successful example is Khusia, how she went through abuse, mental torture and humiliation under Dadi. Now she is brainwashed and her every reaction is according to Dadi's words, body language, thoughts, feelings and imotions. Now for her, Dadi is her mentor and totally accepted submission to her.

And for us, this is not enjoyable show but something for mind. Let's be calm, endure and see how far this ''CREATIVE TEAM'' is going to stretch mental torture to Ria.

well, most shows on SP falls into this category...have u ever tried watching SNS or YHM...all are horrible...
Though this is no excuse for this shows pathetic-ness, but somebody should reprimand SP for showing such stress inducing shows.

I disagree. While SNS and YHM have their fair share of negativity, it is not as overly pronounced as MAM.

MAM takes negativity to a whole new negative. Even things that were supposed to be positive, that viewers were supposed to appreciate, end up being negative. Take the whole Riya exposing Sarla cancer drama, Riya did a good thing. Instead, the show painted Riya's actions as negative and the negativity continued.

That's my biggest problem with the show. There's rarely ever a positive moment. And when there is, compared to the negativity, it's fleeting and often forgotten. And honestly, it's not fun to watch.

I want to desperately like this show because it has SUCH an amazing array of cast members, Varun Badola, Krutika Desai, Suchita Trivedi and Ananya Kahre are POWERHOUSE performers. But I feel like this show doesn't make use of their acting skills at all and instead reduces them to caricature, horrible characters whom you do not even feel like watching.

I'm just so disappointed with it.

Hello Lovely-lady
How are you, I think there is little bit misunderstandig.I didn't say there is no positive role in MAM.What you mentioned about Ria exposing Sarla is good thing and it should be appriciated. And you are absolutely right, that is what it should be. I am fan of Ria and Raghav.their perception are very good.

But my point is, the objective of MAM is ''EXTREME SCENARIO''. What creative team is doing, taking Dadi to the 'lowest of the low' to keep Ria in complete and continous negative environment by abusing, humiliating and mentally torturing 24/7, 365 and year in year out.

Even that is not enough, what Dadi has been doing is turning everything into bad what Ria has been doing good. Even further Dadi is bombarding into Ria's mind. Telling Ria your way of thinking is not right, your logic is not right, every thing you are doing is turning into mess. With this so much continous pressure, repeating again and again, I think creative team is misleading her into break down. And Ria, in that state of total chaos, confusion and helpless, surrender her mind to Dadi just like what khusia did. This is the intention of Dadi over a period of time.

But what happens in the next part when Ria will be able to understand what exactly is happening against her. Is she going to surrender her mind to dadi like Khusia or she is going to flourish to defend her rights and freedom and bring democracy in shanti sadan.

I might be wrong, and I hope I am able to clarify. Thank you.

SNS and YHM has different sort of negativity thats stressfull...Kokila modi is the hitler of SP...and Ishita Bhalla is a jagat mata...both are wrong...

only problem here is that Sarla n Shanti are like to witches who are always winning...and Riya the dumbo gives her head in their hands to hang her...

I watched SNS and then stopped & watch YHM continuously and they are far different than MAM! I feel MAM is far too slow and way too negative with no purpose to the story lines. At least on YHM, the negative characters get caught and punished to some degree, but can't say MAM is in that form at all.

In YHM everyone supports Ishita. All negative characters get exposed real quick, who are usually from outside the family unlike MAM where Daadi and Bua plans and plots against their own family.

Exactly! Each serials have a strong protagonist or a positive character, but this serial really lacks at that. You have Riya, but really, she hasn't done anything to be shown as the top heroine character like Gopi on SNS or Ishita on YHM has been.
