In this show we have two types of people, either you are good, foolish and a doormat. and quite. OR you are a bully, a schemer and a loudmouth . If you are anywhere in between these two you are shot down before you can speak. Lets look at them .
On the Quite side we have.
Koushilya - Well we all know she is the beechari bahu #1 deadly afraid of her Saasu maa and used as the head servant in the house. She takes it all with a smile, and when she can't smile any more she cries by herself ...but Na she will never open her mouth to the injustice because beneath it all they all have a good heart!!!
Ragav _ Taken advantage of by his mother and sister, the money machine and esily manipulated to do thier bidding. Partly cause his mother is his God and in his eyes can't do no wrong. And Partly cause he is not only deaf but blind to what is happening under his nose. (meaning always missing when the action is going down)
Ashok - The make equvilant of Kaoushilya, his wife treats him like dirt , his children, with the exception of Sonal has no respect for him. He is voiceless in his own house. Yet at some level like Koushilya he thinks that beneth it all they all have a good heart!.
Anupam - He joined this list because he believes the in the best of people. With out talking to Amit he decides he is a good boy, by just seeing him. He blindly follows what Sarla and her mother says. As season Professor who was the husband of a Lawyer you would think he had a bit more sense than that , given that this is his ONLY DAUGHTER he is marrying off.
ON the Bully side we have:
SHANTI : The Guru mata of bullies in this show. Ohh She has Kushiya and Ragav under her thumb, she is a thief, a miser and a money hungry old woman...funny thing is in real life even I know some Shanti Devi types lol. A wicked Drama bazz.
Sarla: Ohh She learnt well form her mother, how to constantly disrespect your husband, lie scheme , cheat , cry at the drop of a hat. Also Money hungry. However She is not as Smart as Shanti devi, but apprently she is improving. She moved up the ladder a bit as now she has goons at her beck and call, to kidnap people and pretent to be pundits!!!
Parineeta : Ohh the sceming moved on the the next genration, she I would say is on the same level as her mother beccause she so easily conned rs2000. from her uncle with her sob story, and is charging her mother to be her spy!!! Not to mention the string of bf's she has had !!!
Amit: He knows how to manpulate his mother, he has to be the first man who pay's to keep his job and his mother believes that story!. Compared to Pari he seems a bit less cunning as his mother is calling the shots and he is following...but you know they say...one day he will become smarter than her . He is already a thief, and a lier...
Now The people Who are neither bullies or Pushovers but really have no voice here are:
Nimmi: She tries, she speaks up for her mom and when things goes wrong. But as the baby she is put down. Her Grandmother is always watching her and her mother is constantly telling her be quite
Shivam: He has respect for his elders, and hardly speaks up, again partly because his mother is always telling him to stay Quite.
SonaL : She tried on occasion to speak up but was quelled by her mother to keep out of it. The only one that probably Gels with her cousins.
Dadi Bua : She has some dirt on Shanti, and is probably the strongest contender to speak up. But so far, all I am hearing is "it is a wedding house " and the story is not coming out. In there confrontations Shanti seems to dominate her..
Where dose Riya fall in this ...I can't decide because she is still a fool who dose not even know which man she is marrying.😕 Maybe you can tell me where she fits in lol
