There is also a misunderstanding that Muharram's importance is only due to the sad incident of Karbla which took place on 10th Muharram in 61 Hijery."Muharram, in all significance is known as a mourning month in Islam because the Holy Prophet (PBUH)'s grandson sacrificed his life in order to save the religion of Islam. There is no where written in the Quran that a person is not allowed to mourn for more than three days.Yes, there are differences between the opinions of Shi'a Muslims and Sunni Muslims. But you cannot make a post and decide for everyone as to what happens. If nothing else, you could have at least left a footer saying that the opinion of Muslims from other sectors may vary from yours.I request for an immediate change to this post as soon as is possible. It is quite offensive to allow just a one-sided post on the view of Muharram.
