didnt worked fro me but i gues u said its for UK and Canada so its fine i jus got 1 number extra in my phone number

i didn't take the time to think about it last time, but now that I look at it, the logic is very straight forward...the function basically multiplies the phone number by two and adds 250 to it...then it just divides by two and subtracts the 250. It's just done in a more complicated way.
