The snowy frosty winter night
The mantle sparkling with glittering decorations...The soft burning fire
Some cookies and milk for friendly fat guy
A miracle snuck at middle of night
Witnessed by Rosy cheeks and shinny eyes in the morning
under the Christmas tree lies a legend
Sunshine brings a new miracle..a smile on child's face

**Legend of Santa Claus**
St Nicolas was a patriot saint of young children,unmarriedgirls and Sailors.He was Bishop ofMyra in 4th century in Turkey.His saint day was celebratedon 6th of December
Later on when Pope Julius gave DEC 25 th (which was pagan holiday of midwinter)as Birthday of Jesus Christ; Saint Nick also became Incorporated in legend of Christmas delivering kids all around the world special presents thereby performing a technological miracle with his fast paced sleigh and dedicated reindeer's and not to mention his dedicated elf's at his north pole toy factory
Unlike Santa we do know who should get credit for Santa's most famous reindeer

The cute red nose reindeer owes his story to author Robert L May who had written a story about misfit lead reindeer of Santa with his glowing red nose saved Santa's Christmas eve in foggy wintry weather.
Story was famous in big way but all royalty went to May's boss while May was broke; but in perfect Christmas story of hope; the company shifted copywrite to May in a rare move thereby helping his troubled finances due to his wife's ill health.
Isn't it a tale of Christmas in itself...

The traditional color of red and green signify as green with continuation of life during winter and red symbolizing jesus's blood
holy symbolizes the thorny crown of Christ at his crucification with red berries symbolizing his blood
Christmas decorations used to only put on Christmas eve in Early days but now are put early and left on until 40th day after jesus's birth

Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash'

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,

"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
