Thanks for this post. It is with great respect that I watch the service from the Cenotaph and the march by of veterans here in the UK.

In remembrance of the fallen in all wars whether military or civilian I dedicate an excerpt from one of my favourite poems. This one is by Laurence Binyon.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
