I'm an American software engineer living in Houston. I regularly work with an offshore team in Noida, India. Every year, my team takes a trip over there to visit and work with them on-site for a week or two.
This will be my first time going there. I've thoroughly enjoyed working with them over the past year, and I'd like to bring some sort of gift or souvenir with me when I go. I want to show that I appreciate the great work that they do, and to thank them for working so hard.
I'm trying to think of what to buy. Is there something that I could get in America that they would probably find especially novel or interesting? If there's something I could get that their entire team could enjoy, that would be best. I'll put the budget at 100 dollars, unless I can get some other people on my team to chip in with me.
Also, is there anything special I should know about gift-giving in Indian culture?
Thanks,
Brian
