Do you like being compared to someone?

Hey all,

I have thought of posting this topic for a long time and have finally decided to post it today!

Well the topic is...do you like it when people compare you to someone you know?

An example of this would be (i'll give my example) in my family esp. my cousins there are more girls than boys so us girls get compared with each other all the time...esp on our academic lives etc. After a while I have found this to be very annoying as at the end of the day we are all individuals.

So my question to you all is, has this ever happened to you...and if it has, do you like it or not?

I hate it when ppl compare me with anyone (no matter for what !!!!) !!!!!!

what I believe is that no two human beings are the same and most importantly no two cousins can be the same !!!!!!! and I hate it when my relatives (thank god ,not my parents ) compare me with them !!!! 😡😡

I getcompared between my Brother by my parents!!I mean how unfair is that!!!!!

yeah i agree itz not right to compare two persons bcoz each have their own individuality. i often get compared with my sister or other ppl and i dont like it.

I dont like 2 ppl to be compared..I think every person has his own personality.

I get compared to my brothers and my cousins all the time. I think this happens in every family.

no i hate it! my aunt's always comparing me to my cousin. always telling me how she is the greatest person they know. they always talk about her grades etc. i hate it, she is 2 years older than me, and we are both mature. lately they have stopped, bcuz they realize that exactly 2 years ago where she was, i am. but now shes bugging my lil sister, telling her why she can't b more like me, that really pisses me off.bcuz i know how she feels,
