I could see that Raghav himself was struggling to face his feelings after the mistake, so I can see why he didn't immediately tell Pallavi what happened He did tell her the truth without mincing any words and by taking full accountability. He's feeling the remorse and it's killing him. He hasn't slept a wink because the burden of guilt is too high. It was unfortunate she had airpods on and didn't hear a thing.

but if he loves her then I still expected him as a husband to let his wife know what happened, especially since he has told Keerthi telling K was just to take a load off his chest. He couldn't hold it in any longer because the burden was too much. May be he wanted someone to show him the path. So what if he told it to K. I share a very close bond with my sibling and I would definitely confide in my sibling such a thing in the hope he/she would guide me to the right path. Yes he's making a mistake by hiding the truth from Pallavi and that is going to bite him back in the a*s but I understand his reasons (don't condone them).

hiding it for lifetime was not the right solution, especially now that Esha is staying in the same house well that's how the human mind works. He felt that it would be a lighter cross to bear, hiding the truth and living a life of deceit than telling the truth and being liberated and live a life without his love. When he decided to hide the truth, he was under the impression that E will go away and the truth won't ever surface (again not condoning).

He has the woman who he slept with in the same house as him, and I agree that it was Pallavi who brought Esha in but even now he hasn't decided to tell Pallavi the truth

he is fine with Esha staying in the house and that doesn't settle right with me doesn't that serve him right to see his mistakes right in front of his eyes, just see how much more the guilt would be when you can't push it at the back of your mind. Also, I guess he will ask Farhad to search a place for her (I don't think he will have her eventually live there, it was a temp solution by Pallavi).

my only issue is that now he is being selfish, he just wants Pallavi and her love for him to stay but he didn't think about her value and stance as a WIFE

Yes he's being selfish and he's wrong to hide things from her. He's allowing Esha to drive them apart by lying to Pallavi. He needs to give her the choice because this can't work long term. Rip the bandaid off once and for all. Why is everyone holding him out to be a sinless man? He's a human being and selfishness and lies is one of the most common sins a human being commits. His sentence should equate to the extent of his crimes.

Yes ofcourse. She trusts him blindly and he has been lying to her. Unfortunately this went totally unaddressed in the Mandar track and the idealogy track. He needs to earn her trust once again. Isn't that a punishment big enough? He broke the trust of the person who trusted him when the world didn't. She trusted him even when she didn't love him.

this isn't the first time, he has lied to her many times before with the fear that she will misunderstand and leave him, and that isn't what marriage is about

Who said marriage is perfect? People in the marriage need to work and struggle to accept their flaws and want to improve to make their relationship work. Life isn't a bed of roses, there are more thorns on the paths actually.

Yes they did take it to the extreme but may be Raghav needed to learn a lesson the hard way. He's not going to be repeating his mistakes. If Pallavi has it in her to give him a chance, he will become the Raghav she deserves. The man strives, trust me, he does, he just needs to trust himself to do this once again.

I would NOT be able to understand what’s happening if they didn’t ruin Raghav’s character

I know it’s weird but he CHOSE to drink with Esha even after KNOWING she loves him

that’s completely on raghav, and now I don’t think I would be okay if he tried to be in love with Pallavi again

I am happy because at least they are showing a situation where raghav is screwing up completely, it’s not just about the one night stand, it’s about the lie afterwards, the meeting up with Esha behind Pallavi’s back, the now consoling Esha, ignoring Pallavi and insulting her love for him

and most importantly now Raghav’s friendship with Esha is getting too far

He is hugging her, getting close to her, all of this is something he’s doing VOLUNTARILY, and it counts as cheating quite literally

and ofc now he’s just flat out decided that Pallavi doesn’t ever need to learn the truth, her feelings don’t matter and as a wife she just doesn’t need to know 😒

takeaway:

thank you makers for at least showing consistency in that raghav is going to continue cheating Pallavi through this actions (Esha) and words (hiding the truth)

At least it gives us no reason to support/justify his actions anymore, he’s not redeemable now

And we get to see both Raghvi grow from this, pallavi will rise again after being broken, and raghav will understand that he needed to give Pallavi his trust and not take her for granted

Raghav right now is purely acting on his selfishness, he is only thinking about His Guilt, His feelings & responsibility towards Esha, His fear of loosing Pallavi…it’s all about HIM…

Poor thing she is no where in his thoughts words actions…he is denying her basic rights and is hurting her further…I even shudder at the thought of the impact of his betrayal & behavior is going to cause her..

Raghav is in a dubious state we’re his words actions and intent doesn’t match…his words takes him north and actions south…he has become insufferable…and Pallavi will bear all the consequences of his actions and he has the audacity to call it a mistake…😣

Raghav's behaviour is very consistent with his character. He has always tried to run away from or avoid difficult confrontations and conversations. He never told Amma the premise of his and Pallavi's marriage. He hid his illegal business practices from Pallavi and lied about the entire necklace thing. So its nothing new. His fears of abandonment are very deep settled. So I can empathise and understand his fears and where he's coming from. Yet, can't support him because his actions are leading to only bigger damages.

Precap, I won't jump my guns for the simple reason is the way they play out the sequences are very different. Besides its blatantly clear the woman is trying to manipulate Raghav emotionally or gain his sympathies. Yes, Raghav must jerk it off and snap the ties at one go. And I won't deny that he's not trying it... but Esha is trying to make him feel responsible for her misery.

1. Telling him, I got into a wretched marriage for you!

2. I didn't allow my husband to touch me... basically saying I never moved on

3. Showing her sorry state of affairs and abuse that she has to put through because of an unwanted marriage where she played a sacrificial lamb

4. Pinning him for the night when he was not even in his senses and she was the one to close in on the gap.

So, she is making him feel morally obligated to her knowing that Raghav is a very emotional person. Even though, he's very clear in his stand for Pallavi and his affections for her. He have clearly told Esha that she stands no place in his present or future life. But since then, she's testing the surface and then making moves. He told her he's not interested and she put up the abuse drama... portrayed the threat and then when she saw that he was softening to her misery (which I guess any person will do towards someone in distress) she proposes an EMA! She pretend to leave the town and one could clearly see he was least bit interested and thats when she's again attacked. She's playing mind games with him here. I must say the way she's crawling in on him, its very very clever using all the weapons in her armour as a woman as his ex.

I won't deny Raghav's method to deal with this problem is making it more complicated than ever. Had he communicated to Pallavi about me too and night... this would have snapped the ties. But instead he's wallowing in self loathing and in the process doing more damage than the repair. With all the necessary background information esha is carefully accumulating from various sources, she's surely gonna use it in her favour. And with the premise of their marriage now exposed to her, I won't be surprised if the delusional girl start cooking up the story that he's into this marriage for obligation and actually still loves her.

I agree the track is cringe but still the characters are in place and I don't see anything Raghav has done so far after that night that he can be blatantly held accountable for. He's literally being forced on emotional grounds to do what he's doing only to help someone in need... similarly how Pallavi was emotionally blackmailed by D's to help Mandar.

Esha proposed an EMA and asked him to accept if he had feelings for her and he took her home and let her hold his hand right in front of his wife…if this action is not enough to prove that he still has feelings for her, I don’t know what will..

He feels more responsible for Esha than Pallavi now…he consoles his Ex and tries to be there for her while pushes away his wife and decides to keep her in dark, giving 0 importance to her emotions and right to know and decide proves his loyalties & preferences changed…

Raghav’s words that he loves only Pallavi holds no weight whatsoever when his actions speaks otherwise…

People get judged for their actions…

Pallavi needs to take stern action now.Raghav is even taking away her right to know truth but goes on to care for ex and confides in sister about infidelity who absolutely has no right knowing such intimate detail while wife is left in dark.

But I doubt it will happen. No expectations from makers.

I too felt the same... i wanted to see an upset pallavi and uncomfortable Raghav (for his behaviour with pallavi)... really somtimes there is no continuation at all.
