A short update guys!
Raghav looked at his wife in shock. He was feeling completely disoriented by now. He didn't know what he focus on at the moment. His ex's uncontainable venom spewing ire, his own flaws getting cruelly slapped on his face or his wife's soon to explode apoplectic wrath.
Pallavi did look absolutely nuclear.
Esha was stunned. She hadn't ever seen the sweet simple Pallavi like this, like a fire breathing dragon. She looked at her askance.
"What the..."
"What the hell Ms. Madhavan! What the absolute hell do you think of yourself! Tabse bak bak bak.. anap shanap jo bhi muh mein aa raha hain bake jaa rahi ho. Matlab bhagwan ne muh diya hain toh kuch bhi bologi? Tumhari himmat kaise hui mere ghar mein khade hoke mere pati ki khilaaf aisi behudi baatein karne ki!"
Esha rolled her eyes scoffing in a skin roiling apathy which fuelled Pallavi's already soaring flames.
"Seriously Pallavi! Ab tum isse defend karogi? Of course! Aakhir biwi ho... duty hain. Par jo sach hain naa Mrs. Rao, woh sach hi hain.. aur tum jitna cheenkh lo chilla lo, sach toh badalne se raha. Sab jaanto hun main tumhaare baare mein. Zabardasti shaadi ki thi isne tumhaare saath. Bhul gyi kya tum? Ya paise ki chamak ne baaki sab dhundhla diya?"
Raghav growled leaping forward but Pallavi stopped him with a well placed hand on his chest. Then she crossed her arms across her chest and stood defiantly almost shielding Raghav behind her. She was almost close to her goal. Just a bit more and she'll have this sl*t where she wants her.
"Itna sab bakwaas mein ek baat bilkul sahi boldiya tumne. Sach ko koi nhi badal sakta. Jaise ye sach hain ki tum ek number ki cheap, dhokebaaz aur ghatiya aurat ho."
"How dare you Pallavi! Main ye sab bakwaas nhi.."
"Shut up! Just shut up! Mujhe koi shauk nhi hain yahaan khade rehke tumhaare saath bakwaas karne ki! I don't have to give any proof of my husband's love for me or give you any validation of any of our character certification but neither would I swallow whatever bullshit you spit. Tum hoti kaun ho humare relationship mein comment karne waali? Tum jo chand paison keliye apna samman tak bechne ko ready ho gyi. Dil todna toh alag baat hain Esha.. har kisi ki bass baat nhi hain dil ko sambhalna..tut jaata hain woh bohot asaani se. Galti bhi bht asaani se kar dete hain log but galti karke sharam na hona.. ulta wahi gunaah dobara karne ka sochna.. that shows what kind of a twisted malignant scum of the earth you are."
Esha scathing from humiliation and unable to refute Pallavi's justified argument lost her temper and raised her hand to slap her only for Pallavi to catch her hand before it could fall on her cheek with lightening speed. She pushed her away harshly and picked up the glass tumbler from the centre table and threw the water on Esha's face.
"What the... you! How dare you!"
Raghav looked horrified at the scene in front as Esha spewed nonsense cursing Pallavi in her native tongue while spluttering drenched. She shrieked suddenly and started fingering her right ear desperately. Raghav saw astounded as she pulled out a bluetooth like device from her ear and threw the crackling piece on the table.
"What the hell is..."
"An ear piece."
Pallavi answered him coolly before Raghav could finish his question. He saw Esha look slightly sick but his wife was smirking dangerously.. like a cat who has gotten her cream.
"Why Ms. Singh.. bahaar nhi aayengi aap? Itna drama jo itne dino se racha rahi hain humare life mein.. ab climax scene pe chup ke kyun beithi hain aap?"
Raghav spun around so fast he could feel his neck strain as he saw a protesting and snarling Laxmi Singh being dragged into the room by a female constable and Farhad in tow.
"Meet the grandmaster of this play husband, Ms. Laxmi Singh Madhvan.."
Pallavi said tucking her arm neatly along with her stupefied husband.
