Leaps, especially her 5/10/15 year or multiple () leaps absolutely kill a show for me... it’s just not the same show anymore. The time jump is usually done to reset a story that became stagnant or wasn’t sustainable but I feel as if most serials are so good for their first year max & then the creatives get tired & write odd odd things or repetitive things. Instead they should just end the serial and make another version with the same actors or whatever.

Kusum was an absolute mess by the end. Most of the Ekta ML & FL characters should be 100+ year olds post-leaps but still look 25-35 😆

So true... leads are eternal beauty.. look at kumkum bhagya leads too.. the reason lead actors take leap is that they don't look old plus serial has high trps.. as long as people are accepting such illogical leaps they keep going..Indian viewers are very loyal..they crib cry moan but still want to watch their daily shows they got so used to😂

I love this edit that the topic maker shared and the bgm. The person who made it timed the words and scenes perfectly. I used to love that Kutumb show too, Gauri and Hiten were wonderful. Just thought I'd link the original video here.
