MasterChef Blog: Mystery Box to shock Contestants!

Namastey dosto! I hope you all are as excited about tonight's Hongkong Challenge in MasterChef India 2 as I am. Chef King, our guest for this challenge is a double Michellin star and has something really exciting for our contestants. But the Mystery Box task for the Aakhri Daav, I can tell you, is going to be equally astonishing.

The contestants are going to work in pairs in the Hongkong Challenge and those who don't perform well will be seen in theAakhri Daav. This time, the Mystery Box task is going to be very different and something the contestants would never have expected. Specifically, our contestants who were paired with each other will be competing against each other in the Aakhri Daav.

Trust me - it's not going to be simple. Imagine creating a mystery box for your rival whom you've just worked with as a team. The high point is going to be the fact that the pantry is not their regular MasterChef pantry. It is a traditional oriental pantry with Chinese ingredients. The ingredients are varied ' from approximately 7 varieties of mushrooms to 4-5 kinds of noodles and at least 20 other ingredients, all very different from each other.

It may look simple but it is going to be very difficult. If the contestants will be smart, they will pick complex ingredients for their rival. But I know them; they are going to feel so bad because until now, they were all competing against each other in tasks given by the judges. This time they will have to be the game changers. I am sure that the Mystery Box task will be one rollercoaster ride.
