Hello there! this is my first post in this forum.
I've been following Maryada since day one. This is the only hindi serial i am cling to.
It is one of the rare hindi shows that depicts reality with no gossips, saas bahu baseless fights.
The Cvs have proven to be down to earth people and surely they have portrayed these situations very well! There's no dragging of the history but show important aspects at the right time.
I am 18, i should be watching the typical fairy tale pyaar kahanis, but i swear Maryada is my number one! Even though i don't really understand its language ( its not standard hindi)
Last but not the least, Maryada consists of the best cast!
From bramhanand to imli, they are all amazing!

It is kinda of obvious its TRPs (what does it stands for actually?) is not that high. Maryada targets a mature audience, and its prime reason why it is broadcast late. People normally turn to light easy going mohabbat type shows for entertainment ( not that i don't watch other light pyaar ishk mohabbat types shows) while maryada deals with serious issues. Other shows deal with attraction beauty and sexiness.
I really appreciate the Cvs not ruining the show and turning it to typicall blind love-cry-gossip-stuff shows.
