I do so agree with you that Priya's little outburst in barging in, costed alot (it made a difference as we saw) - and thats why i did say before in my post, that in a way it should of not happened, i know one day Vidya would of got to know that Gaurav had some hand in it, but the way it came out it felt from Vidya's pov - that Chinu was forced. And his love and feelings arent the real... and Gaurav wants to get rid of her and so on
Not only that Chinu even got accused of betraying their friendship, when that is the one thing he always maintained that friendship relation they have, even after he fell in love with her. Poor guy - she even refused to listen or let Chinu speak, to even explain coz as you said and we saw, Chinu fought his feelings abit - fell in love, but he did fought in accepting and taking a step ahead in what Gaurav asked him
Definately Chinu saw everything in that moment, as Vidya was laying into him - he saw the hate, the hurt, the anger in her towards him, but also saw how much she loves Gaurav, he knew she did as he's seen it but this time it was seeing it more and coming to that conclusion with everything mixed in that moment, he saw it - that Vidya loves Gaurav too much and she wont or even come to love anyone else and then Priya giving him that speech, that this is love etc. Also i do feel that after that whole thing, i did think Priya see alittle that maybe Chinu's love was genuine and real to be called love, and not infatuation or a crush and so on
I like how you say, she never saw Chinu's care and love that he was giving her, or the things he was saying about her life, her moving on - her living her life, finding her love and so on.
I do feel like you that Chinu did the right thing again, by leaving - it sealed it for him to leave, coz as we saw before he was hellbent on not leaving when Priya kept telling him not leave, he only ever really stayed for one person.
Coming to Vidya realizing Chinu's worth in her life or realizing that his love was real, i think it will take time - coz first as we saw she is still tangled up in herself and her anger on Gaurav and wants to leave... she probably wont even acknowledging Chinu's leaving until she i dont misses him and their friendship to some degree, though it will be interesting to see how this plays out for now
As for Chinu, well i hope we see him again - and i do think actor is doing a good job so far. I think Chinu as we know how he is - will live with Vidya's memories but also what makes it a difference is that he saw such hate and anger in Vidya, that might just make him hurt 10x (maybe kinda will become ghost of a man he was) and if none of this happening in him not telling her anything, the situation is that - Chinu is dealing with and also taking Vidya's anger and hate, hurt along with him, which must as i said kill him inside, coz this man aches when Vidya's hurt and in pain as we have seen him before and the way he explained to Gaurav how he feels about Vidya
