We're talking about Aditya aka Raqesh Vashishth, who debuted in STAR Parivaar awards and was pleasantly surprised with the feedback from the fans.
How was your debut experience atSTAR Parivaar Awards?
It feels great to be part of such a big television platform. I am glad that I made my debut with such grandeur. I had a great time with the other STAR parivaar members and I want to thank STAR Plus for giving me such a warm welcome.
What was the highlight of this year'sSTAR Parivaar Awards?
The venue itself – The Venetian Macao, was awesome. To top that, my first ever performance with my ladylove Priya akaRiddhi was stupendous; and of course, the show's success at the award function. This Macao trip was a good break for all of us from our hectic shooting schedule.
How did you enjoy Macao? Did you indulge in shopping, sight-seeing, gambling?
I enjoyed my Macao trip by spending time with Riddhi aka Priya mostly. Though, we spend time on the sets, this was a completely different experience altogether. I didn't shop because I wanted to relax. The Venetian was very beautiful, and we went to the pre and post event parties which were wonderful. I had a great time with the channel head and the other STAR Plus officials. I am not much of a gambler either. I enjoyed the relaxing!
Were you surprised to discover so many fans in Macao? How was the experience of interacting with them?
Oh yes! The madness started from Mumbai airport itself! Frankly speaking, I was pleasantly surprised that the show and my character were so famous amongst the audiences. After landing in Macao, we had some pleasant interactions with the fans. It was lovely to hear everyone prais my role and most importantly, they all loved my jodi with Priya.
Tell us about your act/performance. What can the audience expect from Aditya and Priya?
All our fans will enjoy our performances. It is a sweet, romantic act post which we shot for a candid interview about how we fell in love. I can't wait for feedback from fans!
How many nominations did you receive? What are your expectations for yourself and the show?
I was completely surprised to know that I was nominated for every category! It was completely unexpected and a great surprise. I'm glad that audiences loved my role and our show. I want to thank STAR Parivaar for the grand welcome into the family.
